I think they should put a specific troop request. I like getting archers so then nobody could give me gobs and that would be nice for me.

*just going on archers here*
This idea has been thrown around for a while, the only issue I can come up with is "Bob" is the only member in his clan with a clan castle level 5, when he requests he has 30 slots filled, but he has donated 55, he has filled his maximum amount on 11 other members of the clan. So in his tally bob will have donated 55, but received 60. I'm on a good 2k donations atm, but request a fair bit as I'm raiding a lot now, I'm sure my receives, going on my 25 max space in my CC, is a good 4k, so are we tallying up the amount of troops? Or the amount of requests, bob has donated a sum of 55 troops, and has requested twice. Or 55/60?
Im fairly against players who leech on other members, I for one love donations, they are an easy 1-2k extra xp a week. But I also understand to get the kind of numbers I do, it relays heavily on requests, I know some players donate high tier troops to get above our minimum donation and cruise on through like this, where as I only donate archers, on the odd occasion a giant. So players can get 100 donations out of a few dragons. Easy!
This would all need to be taken into account, if the counter came in to play. But personally I think it should be down to the leader to have free roam on what are tallied and what is seen by the other clan members, 2 weeks donation count, I now think will slow down second week donations in some clans, as they are hidden behind the previous week count.
I agree with that. People forget that everything is a game and you can make friends and end up just creating problems and discussions within the clan.
The younger is the clan member cause more trouble mainly because they think only of trophies and forget to improve their villages.
i was going to suggest this too, so good to see some discussions about this. I think this would be really good. We've had some discussions in our clan where some members think they have donated more than they have received. And I know that they have asked for far more. I'm not saying that they shouldn't ask for troops, far from it. But it's annoying when I see lots of troop requests in our clan and no one donating because they think they have already given enough. At least a tally of troops received against donated would end these problems.
someone earlier said about type of troops but surely that up to each clan member what they decide to give. I'm happy to give a dragon to loyal clan members, and I have received a dragon too.
please supercell consider this suggestion!!
