yup got it :)
Need stakes but I don't know how to message anyone on hay day
I just registered myself in this forum. :o
only read for the past visits.
I need a fairy godmother. not familiar on how to use the forum.
I read many of you are so advanced in your levels, mastery of machines, achievements.
well done!
I wonder how all of you achieve these.
I still have not acquired many machines. the last machine is the cake oven.
the machines are so expensive.
don't have that many coins or diamonds to buy them.
always have problems expanding the silo, barns and expansion items. could never get those items.
I am in level 34 and only could open a little new space. Never get the materials to open an other one. I never have enought coins... I can not open the mine yet... my barn is full and when I sell things to have space just comes the boat or new orders with the items I sold... I love the game but sometimes is very very frustating..... I can not connect with facebook... and I do not know how to add friends....
Maybe you have somebody better than me to help but this is very nice from you. You must be a very good person in real life... God bless you
Kik... Luisana1985.... android
I need 7 stakes. 4 land deeds and 4 mallets ... Pm gc: N O Saints girl :-)
Thank you!!!
Will pay it forward!!!!!
I have been playing for quite a while. It is so hard to get the expansion parts, especially the deeds. I would love to be able to receive some help so I can then pay it forward and help others with parts. I have started my expanding with my fishing spots but it has take quite some time to open what I have. I have not even began to expand my farm but would like to. My problem is holding on to the parts until i get enough deeds to make an expansion. My bard is a decent size, 525 atm. I am always helping anytime i can with ship orders to also help alleviate some extra bank space. Does anyone have some input on what I can do to help and receive help. I look forward to any advice =) Thanks =) I recently changed my GC name to make it easier to gain friends as well. Everyone enjoy Hay Day!!
GC: easy2add
If you want to friend me go ahead, I only have a few land expansion items at the moment because I gave some away in the Smiley/pay it forward thread, but you can have what I got now. You can also keep an eye on the Smiley/pay it forward thread, ones will post what they are giving away free, you just reply their thread.
You can pm if your going to friend me and I will have you come over and get the items I have right now.
Hi! I had the same experience Luisana. It was very frustrating for me at this particular part of the game. I had to choose between which machine I would buy (as so many were available to me that I could not afford) and then save up for ever! Just keep ripping down truck orders for stuff you cant make and do not stop upgrading your barn. All of a sudden you will see that you can make money faster & faster! I also used the roadside stand as much as possible to make coin. Also, don't sweat the mine for a while...it will be there when you are ready for it!
If you have Game Center, I will send you a friend request bc I love to help growing farms!
EDIT: I see you said KIK android? I don't know what this is or how to friend you...anyone know about this?
Luisana says she's on Android, which means she can't use GC. And she says she can't connect via Facebook, either. That means no one can help her. :(
Luisana...not sure why you can't use FB, but if it's a technical problem, maybe someone here can talk you through it.
If you just hate Facebook, well, so do I, but it's the only way for us Android users. Many of us have created Facebook accounts just for Hay Day, if you're worried about privacy.
In any case, Neen has good advice. Sell via your roadside stand for max money. The in-game characters who walk up and ask for stuff don't pay very well. Neither do truck or boat orders, really. Sell through your roadside stand instead. I used to make 30,000 a day when I was at your level, mostly through selling at my stand. Max in one day was 180,000, a few levels higher than you are now.
I'm looking for a godchild, under level 30
Hi there! I hope I'm replying correctly. If not, I'm really sorry! I'm level 36, but I never get stakes. The only ones I can find are in the ads, and those almost never come up. Is there anyone who could help me please? Thanks so much!
I would like a fairy mother or two (sorry if that sounds greedy) to help me upgrade my barn and silo, and maybe do some land expansion. I am nearly level 27. I am also running out of coins.
Thanks for this thread, tis great!
PS, I would rather do this through facebook then game centre because theres less people/friends to wade through using my phone rather than ipad.
Is anyone currently a Fairy Godmother? This was a popular thread some time ago but not so much anymore. I wasn't sure if people were still taking in younger farms.
If anyone is still taking the role as Fairy Godmother, perhaps you can tell a bit about what you do. Maybe it will inspire some new Fairy Godmothers. I've thought about being one but I am not sure if I have enough time, but then again, maybe it doesn't take as much time as I think. So, maybe someone can post and share their experiences. How much time do you spend? What methods do you use? How many younger farms do you take in? How big is your barn and do you still expand your own barn and/or silo while being a Fairy Godmother? What else do you do? Tell us more. :)
I would love to see this thread be active again. It was some good stuff way back when and a little fairy dust is always a good thing. ;)
Yes ilovehayday I agree. I think I could help some lower level people but what else does a fairy godmother need to do? I hate selling expansion materials in the dd because I want lower level farms to get them not higher level farms hoard them just in case we ever get further land release. Please someone revive this thread. Not everyone is in a or wants to be in a neighbourhood and that is the first thing people say when you need help- join a NH.
It seems to me that the neighborhoods have completely changed the game, maybe in ways no one could have ever imagined.
Before NH we had a strong tradition of helping threads here -- the Turbo Trucker help thread and the Boat helpers threads were staffed at least 18 hours a day, everyday. We had the Fairy Godmother thread and later dear Woozle's Smiley thread.
One by one those threads have gotten buried (in the case of the TT and BH threads they were closed by the groups WELL before the introduction of NH) and have become wither shadows of their former selves or distant memories.
One reason may be the proliferation of multiple farms in a single RL family. When I started farming, I was the only one with a farm and could give generously to lower level players. Now my husband and daughter have their own farms, and they are much lower level than my big farm. So where does my help go? To the folks I live with of course :)
Next comes NH -- which introduced forum-style helping to more than forum users. I suspect that as the NHs formed, they became a more balanced helping co-operative group, rather than the more one-sided FGM-FGC relationship.
I know I actively looked for ways to help my FGM Roya. She was so many dozens of levels higher than I was that it was tough for me to do much to help her! :) She showered me with LEM and SEM and some BEM -- filed my boats and sold me bars and jewelry to get vouchers for pets. I think I found a few ores for her in return and made a few loaves of bread and jams for her. ha ha
Now in our NH we have a few young farmers who get all our excess EMs, lots of help with coins and production for boats -- it's more a communal cooperative ethic.
Just my thoughts - I loved having a FGM, and part of my agreement with my FGM was that after I "grew up" I would find a FGC of my own. It was a lovely time in HD.
@PerkyCox The problem with the neighborhoods is that you can't join them until you are level 29 or something.
I think every successful FGM-FGC relationship is different based on the players. I know that Roya and I worked out the terms on how she would help me and how I could help her because she had had a bad experience with a demanding FGC. That player demanded to buy everything from Roya at 1 coin, plus demanded multiple transfers of coins and all of Roya's EMs. When Roya asked to sell at default or said she didn't have the items to spare, the FGC was ugly.
Our agreement was that Roya would sell to me at default and would buy from me at max. She offered several transfers of coins, usually about 20K per transfer, when I was close to leveling up and needed extra coins to buy the machines. She gave freely of all her SEM LEM and some BEMs, but asked that I also work myself to try to add to what she could provide. We would communicate via Kik, not PMs.
For my part I agreed to buy at default unless I was flat broke, to work my farm, and make progress on my own and not sit around with my hand out all the time. I would tell her what I needed, not just ask for everything she had. And I also asked for opportunities to help her -- although at my miniscule level at the time those were pretty few and far between ha ha
I also promised to graduate and find my OWN FGC to help.
In short, we had a cooperative relationship based on respect, with appropriate boundaries. We got to a point where we could ask each other for things -- she felt ok about asking me as a very low level player for things she was short of, and I stopped being embarrassed about how much LEM and SEM she was dropping on me when I could not reciprocate :)
Your arrangement sounds pretty awesome.
I want to upgrade my silo and barn to about 600 before I hit level 30. That's probably asking too much though.
I tend to buy items at top price, unless the other person is feeling generous. I tried to trade with two people yesterday but they decided to give me the stuff for free.
Trading is getting harder now. I barely have any building items, and I'm running out of coins, I guess I'll have to keep wheating! Lol :)
May I offer this advice: Stop buying stuff from other people's shops (except for wheat at 1 coin that you can sell for 10 in YOUR shop).
Stop doing all truck orders and boat orders (for yourself and others) until you have 300K coins or more.
Keep your machines producing all the time and sell EVERYTHING you make in your shop for max.
Harvest eggs as often as you can and sell in your shop for max.
Make sugar 24/7 and use it to make products -- do not sell your sugar
Work your animals as hard as you can -- Sell bacon, goat milk, and wool. Use cow milk and some goat milk to make cream, butter, or cheeses to use in products
Make plain popcorn night and day - bread ditto. Make blue sweaters by the ton. Sell at max. Make chile popcorn overnight.
Do not sell anything to the visitors -- hold them hostage or send them off.
Use diamonds to buy more production slots.
Fish at all opportunities and make fish sandwiches or fish & chips (not sure of levels)
SELL SELL SELL
Some folks sell their extra expansion items, but I never did. You might sell the LEMs left after you expand your fishing area -- you can expand your land later.
it's interesting to have this FGM / FGC relationship ... i'm almost a mth old to this game at level 39.
Andriod User and Facebook is the only way to get help.
Guess you really need GC or FB up to reduce on the frustrations.
Once you get up to level, joining a good neighborhood seems to be the next best option.
Hope to see the spirit of sharing continue to pay forward.
I suppose if anyone wants to be a FGM, we need to update the FGM-FGC relationship to better correspond with neighborhoods.
Suppose FGM's help FGC's until level 29. At level 29, the FGC can either join the FGM's NH (if there is room or the FGM allows it) or the FGC can part ways and seek a proper, helpful NH. Maybe the FGM can help them find a proper NH. If they don't want to join a NH, the FGM-FGC relationship can continue beyond level 29, if both parties agree.
Then this way the lower-level player gets lots of help and hopefully lots of coins for their future game-playing. It's like nurturing a baby bird until it is old enough to leave the nest with lots of love. :)
Any thoughts on this?
I don't know how this works or how many new players or players under level 29 will read this but I will offer., mainly for BEMS and LEMs, and money than help for boats. The lower the level you are the better.
I really don't want to do this through Facebook but gamecenter. I can be on at different time zones depending on the week so it is hard to help if someone is only on at one time every day. (But I,will try and work around it)
I am still expanding my barn and to lesser extent my silo but I play often at the moment so have plenty of tape and some planks to offer, bolts are rare for my farm but I will start you of with some ( I don't trade so won't give you many bolts after that)
I have had bad experience with repeat raiding with last helper tab (currently have one) so would prefer to sell items you need for your boat at one coin in my shop, rather than load your crate. Unless you are doing your consecutive boat achievement, I dont do my own or others, cream, butter, sugar, cheese etc and raw fish boats.
My offer
- first farms only (no second farms etc or feeder farms)
- up to level 29 (then you are at neighbourhood level and I will "delete" you aka gently nudge you out of nest so you fly on your own and get help from NHs ;)
- if I feel you are not playing the game so you won't level up just to get more BemS etc from me, I will delete you so I can help someone else. (I love to help, but don't like to be taken advantage of)
- will give you BEMS for one coin and LEMs for a coin (when that level opens up)
- can give you lot of crop for one coin so you can resell it at max price, along with some other items for a coin.
- I won't directly help boat (load crates) or revive plants
- I will help you (sell stuff in my RSS) when doing consecutive boat and turbo trucker achievement, let me know if and when you are doing it.
As you will Be "PM" me so I know when you are around and what you want, (less chance others will buy items) someone with good English is a must so I clearly know what you want and there is no miscommunication. I will check my PM at least twice a day
So reply if interested. :). Then I will PM you my gamecenter ID.
sorry for the list but I always like it when things are clearly outlined in the beginning, I find that makes for less disappointment etc later. :)

edit, as no one is interested in my offer at the time of this edit, and it doesn't look like anyone will, I wanted to let you know that I am taking a break from the forum (not because of this but for various reasons). I wanted to let you know so I wouldn't leave anyone hanging.
I am waaay under level 30 and would greatly appreciate the help. I made a Facebook specifically for this game. Http://www.facebook.com/lawl.aassa
I made a Facebook account specifically to get the most out of this game (seeing as I play on an Android)
My farm name is tht1kid Ana my facebook is http://www.facebook.com/lawl.aassa
I have been wheating like crazy trying to get building materials to upgrade my silo and barn but it's killing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi!
I just stumble accross this post of yours and I will try it since I'm in desperate need of money lol. Anyway, I just wanted to ask you (even though it's not really the topic of this thread), what items would you recommend selling in order to make the most profit (besides the ones you already mentionned)? Thanks a lot :)
I'm a level 20 and am trying to expand my barn and silo. I can't seem to find wood planks or panels. I'm looking for a fgm to help out, I wheat non stop but am getting no where.
Hi all, I'm lvl 12 and just started the game. Currently looking for a FGM to get me going a little. If anyone is keen to help, do PM me! Thanks!
Hello. I'm fairly new to the game. I have made it to level 28 because I Play so much. I love the game and I would love help with my expansions I'm having trouble veering everything I need I've been selling what I get to much of because of the space in my barn. I would love to pass the favor on and help others once I have mine done.
I've been playing and wheating like crazy trying to collect barn and silo expansion tools but my luck is apparently lacking in that department. I am a Facebook player. If anyone could offer any help that would be greatly appreciated
