I for one hate the at troops can be lured far from the castle and be killed. Troops should stay within their radius. While this idea may not benefit those with their castles all the way on the outskirts of their village it would be useful for others such as farmers.
Please leave feedback on how you feel on weather Supercell should add this or not

I don't like this idea. The opposition wastes troops on killing them and sometimes (if your clan castle is well placed) they can't lure them out. Just replace your cc.Quote:

I agree with the OP. Clan castle troops should remain in their radius similar to heros and their radius. Although everyone above th8 knows how to lure most troop combos the problem is the luring out itself. On attacks wizards archers barbs etc cannot jump walls but on defense they just hop over them and end up in a corner chasing down a random barb or archer only to be destroyed by a swarm of them when they all regroup. This seems extremly naive from a battle perspective and lacks game AI. The troops should stay in their radius and the game should reward those who plan out good cc placement and troop combos and not just let them get walloped because someone sent in a hog in the cc radius and then released a barb at the corner of a village. This problem affects mostly TH8s as their limited number of walls will surely allow the CC radius to be triggered rather quickly. Although some wizards and archers are good defensive CC troops they are all going to be lured and killed so i agree with keeping them around the building which the come out of so they can protect it the way they should similar to a hero protecting its radius.

If you center the clan castle this shouldnt matter. It also means once the attackers trooops leave the circle your Clan Castle troops are just gonna stand there which makes them useless. Personally I think this idea is useless. I get doing it with the king and queen but clan castles need to defend the whole base.
defence become too strong. imagine dragon or hound staying in radius and all troops trying to kill it while beaten by defences
The cc troops are already useless when they get lured because they are dead meat. So i do not see what they are actually protecting except that single attacking troop as it lures all of them out. You say they will just stand around but isnt that the point? To stand around where they were intended on defending? Perhaps you are right but maybe they should be lured out at the rate that they are each killed instead of the entire castle emptying out to chase down 1 attacking barb?Quote:
