Clan Wars attacks on already starred bases
I was a good little girl and tried several advanced search terms and even leafed through several of the most recent posts to double check myself, and did not find this suggestion on the ruled out list. But, if I messed up and this suggestion is out in the forum somewhere, I profusely apologize.
I'm not technologically advanced so I won't have pictures either like some of the awesome people on here have.
On to the actual topic of interest:
Every war I have participated in, I see at least one person do this. In the war I am in two people did it to the same base: They attacked a base that had already been attacked, and that original attack achieved the max of three stars. I am annoyed first of all that people aren't reading up, researching, or youtubing how clan wars work, or even asking in the clan chat for that matter. I try and send out clan mail to exhort members not to attack bases that have already been three starred and to please try and attack bases that have no stars over ones that have one or two. This precaution just does not seem to work - perhaps it's a language barrier, or people don't read their clan mail, or I don't know what.
I think the solution to this would be that once a war base has been three starred, that base can no longer be attacked. When scouting or looking at it, the "attack!" button should be grey, and if someone tries to click it, a red message could pop up saying "This base already has been attacked for maximum stars".
In addition to this war feature, bases that have been one or two starred should have a verify message when clicking the "attack!" button that reads something like: "This base has been attacked and your clan has received 2 stars, if you attack you can only get 1 more star from this base. Are you sure you want to attack?" (same message for one star, but saying you can get a max of 2 stars from this base) with the option in that window to "accept" or "cancel".
