what's the point of been a leader when co-leader do the same thing ?

The Co Leader can not kick out other Co Leaders. So a rogue co leader cant delete a clan. Although they can still do a ton of damage, hence why I always think people who give co leader away are not thinking clearly. Get to know someone before you make them co.

Once you trust someone to be a Co - then thats the whole point - you trust them to act in the clans best interest, especially while you the leader are away.

I do agree that Leaders should be able to send a lot more clan mail. If people feel like they are being spammed they can go to another clan. But there are legitimate reasons for a leader to need to send more frequent mails. Going into a war with a bunch of newer people there is so much to instruct or remind people of.

This is correct, co lead was supposed to be an assistant to the leader.

The breakdown came when clans (usually desperate noob types) started giving it out like a door prize just to get guys to join. The guy who above suggested that they have one leader, one co leader, and the rest elders was on point too, that is more of a management structure for an organized clan and less of a clubhouse handing out party favors.

Used properly the current arrangement works well for clan management. And there is no way SC could adjust it that would make it still work in cases where its not being used right. (For example, that call for them to allow for multiple leaders so there is a level separate from the co leads would break down when some guy is on global saying free Elder, Co and Leader if you join. it would be the same guys saying free Elder and Co now, and there are a lot of them)

A personal philosophy - You should never 'buy' a member in any form. Neither with Elder, Co, or troops. The sort of guys you get that way, as soon as they are done collecting from you, are back on global looking for the next guy that will pay them. (Even as they speak to their great loyalty in the clan chat)

The reason to set few co leaders and not one is for they can send 2 or 3 email on the same time when you need to make a lot of explaining to do for new users or in war.

now you can't really know all your co leaders. Of corse you can trust them but if one of them don't like the way you handling things he can always start a war and run from the clan. ( this is the only real damage he can do)

I think that leader need to decide who can start a war or not.
Also I think that leader need to have access to delete posts or emails from clan forum.

Don't forget it is a online international game and it is very hard to control all users actions.
Leader need to have a lot more then he have now.

I disagree, co leader is like co owner of a business equal share, I think the biggest problem is that people devalue and don't put enough importance on the co leader position, they just give it away to strangers they met on the global chat.

you right about that,
so the answer to this dilema is to give the leader the alternative to choose who can open war or not.

war is the only major action that you cant undo.

Co-leader... Title says it all. Have less co-leaders if it bothers you.

Well with a well organized clan, the leader is the one most respected. Even if a coleader tells someone to do something, leader has the finally say... Right? And leader chooses whos co. If the clan runs efficiently and each member if the clan respects eachother, then there is a large distinction between cos and leader. Of course if you just throw co around willy nilly, leader becomes meaningless.
