Except that Supercell is doing it better, by having another element, which is resources, which we can either farm or gem.
But of course, as we farmers have always repeated, you can max out everything without paying a single cent :)
But if you lack the patience or time or commitment, yet still wish to achieve that goal, gems are your solution :p
