Lvl 30 BK vs. L3 Gobs, Mano a Mano

So, as many of you know, I am partial to having Gobs (yes, Gobs) in my CC for both offense as well as for defense. I'll skip all the math about higher DPS, health, etc, etc... Let's just have some fun pics here.

So, I was parked in our feeder clan, so my CC was filled with level 3 arch and gobs, hehe. And I got attacked at 2500 troph by a fellow using 11 max lvl dragons, a lvl 30 Arch Queen, and a Lvl 30 BK, and a few Thors and Rage spells, etc, etc. Sigh, the story of this area... Anyways, the funny part is when my lvl 3 defending gobs took down the Lvl 30 BK.

Anyways, don't want to hog this post with too many screen pics, but it was one darn funny replay, watching L3 gobs take down a L30 BK.

The BK was wacking at the walls and those little green men zipped out and swarmed the fatso. BK was dizzy and the gobs went run off afterwards.

The Barb King did not even respond when all the Goblins swarmed around him?

I would think that you chose goblins for cc defense, and offense is because you are in a farming clan and it's a pain to queue archers when your main troop consumed are goblins. Pretty sure it's the same for all other members, no?

It looked like the BK was targeting the walls, wacking away while the green mosquitos nibbled him to death. This targeting trick is really why people use meat shields (giants, barbs, golems, etc)... so the defense targets them, and the archers/ wizards behind them can shoot free at will.

In this example, the BK was wacking away at the walls and had that targeted while the gobs swarmed him. For the archer argument, yes, they also could have taken down the BK safely behind the walls (if not baited). But, the L5 gobs hit harder than L6 archers and they swarmed the BK faster given their speed.

You wouldn't believe the number of noobs that apply to our clans and insist that archers hit harder than gobs and thats why everyone wants archers, etc, etc... anyways, I didn't mean this thread to start up that debate, I just thought it funny to see the green men take down a Lvl 30 BK so fast.

Hehe, Alticus... so I get asked all the time, I'll drop soon.

I haven't been up to this region in a few months, so I'm checking to see how people trophy chase nowadays, and right when I was ready to drop (when all I saw was max lvl dragons, plus max heroes, plus 4 spells), the 4th AD came out, and changed things. So, I'm enjoy the replays with golems, etc, etc.
