Thoughts on how to make the elix flow again.
After reading through the update feedback thread I see some people that have come to the same conclusion as I. There's little loot and very little elixir to be found. This might be a balancing thing and might get better as we go along but I had some thoughts on how to still keep elixir in peoples storages but still have the posibility to use it for walls and have a functioning in game economy.
Simply make it so that you can't use elixir for walls if you by upgrading a wall end up under the storage cap, or any fixed amount that SC think fits. This would mean that we would probably see more elix than we do now from active users due to the fact that they will keep a large amount in their storages at all time to make sure they can upgrade walls using elix. Sure people could just upgrade a wall and then spend the remaining elix on something else but overall some users would have 2,9 million (th9) in storages at all time, me included.
This is just an idea and might even have been brought up by someone else but I think this would work great... What are your thoughts on this idea, could this work and would you like to see this implemanted in the game?
make it more expensive to upgrade walls with elixer
It should not be the same price to upgrade walls with elixer considering it it technically a defensive item. I think 1.5 timez gold rate should do. In addition they could raise the elixer collector rate or make the elixer based troops and spells cheaper. My whole clan is running at about 25% of the normal elixer storage and we didnt even upgrade walls with elixer. Not cool supercell! Oh and if I can build walls with elixer y cant I build troops with gold lol
