Accidental village modifications - what a pain in the keister...

It is sometimes quite annoying when you are at home, looking at your village, waiting for troops to cook or whatever, and you accidentally drag a building/wall piece/etc. from the place you intended for it to remain, and then have to move it back. Especially if you have segmented or irregular wall patterns. Sometimes it can take some real effort to locate that wall piece if you didn't take note of where exactly you dragged it to. My question is, why do we have a village edit mode if we can edit it, purposefully or accidentally, from the main screen? We cannot edit war bases without entering edit mode, and frankly I find it to be a pain in the rear. It just makes sense that one should only be able to edit if you enter edit mode. Considering that this is already the way it is in Clan Wars, I don't imagine it would take more than a few keystrokes to make it the norm in our regular village. I know I am not alone in finding this to be a bit annoying.

yes, very much needed. very painful to find a displaced wall piece and/or where it goes once you find it. i've seen others ask for this before as well, like a "base lock"

I agree, either only being able to edit in village edit mode or a edit lock button would be very good.

Agree with this suggestion. There a special button to edit. Why for we can edit it without going in edit mode?

Although it would be slightly less convenient if you want to move a single building a few spaces, I still think this would be great. No telling how many times I've accidentally moved a wall piece without noticing. Then the next day I watch my defense replay only to find out that I gave my enemy a perfect doorway into my base. This, along with an attack button when looking at enemy bases to avoid the accidental dropping of troops, are 2 things this game needs, in my opinion.

Considering I have seen it done several times, Captain Internet, I don't think that it is against the rules. Perhaps it may be, and if so, then I appologize to the powers that be. If I offended you, well, ask me how much I care. Probably about as much as you do coming off sounding like a Dbag on an Internet forum.

I like this idea overall and there should be an undo or redo button for edit mode incase we make a mistake or something like that in non edit mode and edit mode.
