Dark Elixir

Well i have been saving my dark elixir for lvl two hogs and i have around 17000 and i keep getting raided by TH10s who are stealing at least a thousand.I visited one who attacked me and saw that he had 100000 dark elixir so i took some lightning spells and revenged him only 3000 was open to me which their is my problem i have 17000 and I'm getting 1000 stolen and he had 100000 and he's only getting 3000 stolen Something is offf here.....

You should have posted this in Bugs and Problems

Please read the section on raids which outlines how the loot is calculated http://clashofclans.wikia.com/wiki/Raids.

You will see that dark elixir raided is capped at 3000 for th10.

The best way to steal dark elixir from high levels is to simply lightning spell or destroy the drills.
The cap for dark elixir available from a th10s storage is 3000

I did not know there was a cap when i visited him and saw 100000 it made me excited
