How long do "new" clan members stay "new"

Basic question but I have searched and haven't found the answer...

In the clan list, new members show up with a red "new" under their name. Does anybody know how many days a member will stay "new"?

I think it's one or 2 weeks. I will have to pay closer attention.

Normally 3-4 days. 3 secs, promote then demote immediately after joining.
