Cancelling Upgrades

Why in the world is there a cancel feature in clash of clans! This is ridiculous! My brother just cancelled my xbow upgrade to level 3 which cost 7 mill and only had a few days left! ♥♥♥! I know it's not super cells fault but still, why can you cancel an upgrade that has been progressing for so long with the click of a button! That's stupid, is there a way I can get my upgrade to come back? Without spending countless days saving back up for the upgrade and another 2 weeks waiting for the upgrade to complete????!!!

No one ever wants to cancel an upgrade, the feature is unnecessary, delete it.

I guess not bro.. I sometimes used the cancel feature. It is good for the game.. Just proved to be "not so good" for you :p

When would you use the cancel feature? If you've accidentally upgraded something you didn't want to, you only get 50% of it back so what's the point?

In case you need a free builder to upgrade a different defense structure for an upcoming War or a Push..
Then I could see the need to cancel out another upgrade.

Also if you need a free builder to build walls cuz you just mass farmed your gold and elixir deposits to max.. whatcha gonn' do?.. Cancel an upgrade, blow everything on walls, start over :)

Xactly what i did.

The same thing can be said with upgrades if this is implemented.

Exactly...or lock your phone so he can't mess with your game.

I can't tell you how many times I've started a cheap build like a mine or collector that takes several days, then built up enough resources to start a more expensive build, but didn't have a builder freeing up for 36 hours or more. As much as it sucks to lose the build time, I wasn't going to spend gems to finish something early, so I cancel the mine or collector and start the more expensive build before someone has a chance to steal my resources.
