Reporting In Chat

I have an issue where I've been banned from the global chat for rejecting clan invites. People invite me, I tell them no I'm looking for a better clan and apparently some take it upon themselves to report me because I don't want to join their clan. After sitting in the same global for a few minutes, this resulted in me being banned for 24 hours.

It's ridiculous that people can report you and actually get you banned for 24 hours without you actually breaking any rules. Sure, it's only 24 hours but it's a nuisance. To add on to that, I've also seen it used to grief people before. One individual in a chat was being picked on by everyone else and people spammed to report him. I assume it worked because he stopped responding.

Why can't we make it so that if you receive enough reports it moves you to another global chat or even better, have the reports actually do something and quit being lazy by banning everyone that gets reported.

I get this a lot...i have been banned on many occasions by just being nice and saying "im sorry mate your to low, we are 90+ clan"...so they report me...i do nothing bad on global and help a lot of noobies. Never be negative or smart to ppl. Yet im banned at least once a week from(hate to say it but) little brats!
LI honestly dont see why there is report as chat has sensors (which most ppl get around lol) and there is also mute! If ppl dont like someone just mute them, no need to report! If report was used correctly then keep it. But from what i have see. In the last 2 yrs on global, its always the nice ppl that get bullied and banned from the actual ppl that should be banned!
