When should I go to Town Hall level 9?

hah I donate more than you! Lol. Are you stopping at Bk lvl 4 due to extended snoozetime or will you still ug him in the future?

I was thinking along the lines of
"If you are asking this question, then you are not ready"

But yeah, you are far from th9, unless you have not heard enough TH9 horror stories yet.

Believe me, I donate all the time. My problem is a lack of bars (glares at clannies). :p

But, yes, I don't plan on leveling the BK further in the near future.

Haha of course you do, no one reaches lvl 91 in th8 without a good chunk of Xp coming from donations.

I'm maxing BK to 10, only one more level to go. But on my second account which just got him, I plan to not upgrade him at all. I'll draw comparisons between the two to gauge whether it is worth upgrading him or not.

I remember someone giving this answer on Forums many moons ago:

When everything you click on says 'Upgrade to TH9'

But on a less humorous note,
with the new 20% cap on storages,
the 10% loot penalties on TH8,
the overwhelming new toys available to us in TH9 (think 7 million for a new CC),
it's better holding off TH9 until your defences (& walls ideally) are fully maxed.

With all the restrictions in place against raiding lower level THs,
poorly defended TH9s are easy pickings & frequent targets by the bullies in the playground.
