Gold Storage Protection TH9 - Highly Symmetrical
Hey,
I just finished designing this base today. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
It met a lot of conditions:
1. High defense for Gold Storages.
2. At least two walls between Gold Storages.
3. Mortar triangulation. (partial success)
4. Air defense that is not easy to get to.
5. King and Queen in the center, so they can't be drawn out.
6. Dark Elixir and Clan Castle in the center.
7. Wizard Tower placement that protects gold storages and forms a square.
8. Dual Teslas that cover gold storage.
9. Xbow placement that is symmetrical and not easy to reach.
Flaws:
1. There are only two walls near the North and South Wizard Towers instead of the three walls on the East and West towers. This makes reaching the center a bit easier.
2. There is one defense missing on the South compartment where I put a Dark Elixir Drill.
3. The Mortar triangulation is decent, but not the best.
Overall I'm pretty happy though and I can't wait to test it out. The regular elixir is exposed, but I don't really care I run a surplus usually, and if they steal it first then it just means less gold that gets stolen.

UPDATE:
Here is a variation with the mortars in the center, and the king/queen a bit further out.

Per a suggestion below, I moved the wizard towers and swapped them with the xbows and heroes. It does seem to work better this way. The towers can punish lane pushers (lol is this dota) and pummel gold stealers.
Overall this may not be the best base, but it's certainly not a bad base. I don't care much about elixir storages. I can also move traps around to experiment with what works best.
