lotsa haters of a good idea,, i farmed 800mill with my th inside and i would like to get rewarded for deffending all you bad ♥♥♥ 'farmers' with ya th outside are the reason why loot stinks halve the times, well i hold most of the times loot and i give nothing for free no trophies no loot:cool:

Actually, even a small defensive bonus would be beneficial, if it also meant your cc troops, traps, and defenses were re-armed.
The cost of reloading alone, can be 50k or more in gold. That is 50k saved, in addition to what you would save by not having all of them pre-triggered for the next attacker.

Bump. I posted this idea over a year ago, and still would like to see it. I wonder if the update post today by SC about changes to shielding, matchmaking, and league bonuses, involves some of my idea. I hope so! The idea seemed to get a lot of positive feedback when I first suggested it.
I like the idea of Bonus on successful defense as it is given on successful attack. But still players prefer their townhall's to get sniped in order to get a shield. At the end of the day, shield is what matters the most. So, we can't force anyone to defend their base in the best manner possible. However, Bonus on successful defense seems cool !
A defensive bonus might work, but if you are like me you get attacked 2-3 times a day max vs. attacking a couple of dozen. If you wanted to be attacked more, you'd constantly be having to reset traps. I can also see a million troll bases built to lure noobs in bronze and silver league.
Someone on the first page posted what my idea is to solve the issue already, but I'll repeat it because I think it is a good one:
I were to think as a developer I would increase TH loot storage capacity:
TH2: TH loot storage is 1000/1000
TH3: Loot storage +2000/2000
TH4: Loot storage +3000/3000
TH5: Loot storage +4000/4000
TH6: Loot storage +5000/5000
TH7: Loot storage +6000/6000/100DE
TH8: Loot storage +7000/7000/150DE
TH9: Loot storage +8000/8000/200DE
TH10: Loot storage +9000/9000/250DE
TH11: Loot storage +10000/10000/300DE
Thus a sniped TH10 currently would stand to lose 45K/45K + 700DE.
I used these numbers because they are easy to understand, but they can obviously be tweaked. The ideas is to cause a lot more players to think twice, and pay a price more in line with the value of a shield, when they leave their TH out. SC can adjust the numbers until the desired balance is achieved, an easy and fair way to discourage sniping and make adjustments to the overall Clash economy.
