I am an Android hay day farmer. how do I connect with friends through Google plus? I

How do I connect with family/friends through Google plus? If they are have Facebook and I don't is there a way to connect without having a FB account? Missing a lot of fun while watching the apple/iPhone users have a blast!!

Usefull also for me. I hate fb :P

This is not a bug. While you need to link your farm to G+ to safeguard your progress, it's not possible to add friends through it at this time. Facebook is your only current way of adding friends into your game.

Friends, the game <edit> uses google + to add friends and works very well, i play multiplayer with my friends google +, it also has the option of facebook, which has the same purpose. So, I see no difficulty in making it work in hay day, I guarantee you will earn a lot more players, there are people like me who do not like to use facebook.

Umm...The game you mention is simply a first shooter game. Unfortunately, you can't make Hay Day add friends through G+ by downloading another game that does add friends through G+ onto their devices.

It doesn't make a difference how many friends you have in other games through G+...they won't show up in Hay Day as that connection is currently not established between HD and G+.

No, what I meant is that if that game can add friends in the game coming from the g +, why the hay day can not use the same mechanics? It's the same logic programming for both.

Yes, the mechanics are the same. However, there are other issues besides straight forward technical that decide if applications from different companies can or will interact. SC is continuing to look into alternatives for adding friends into the game.

Yes I understand, and I know they are working to make this right for us, but from what I've been reading the forum, it has already been requested by many since 2013. I really like the hay day, have fun with it enough, but I'm losing much without my friends, just because I do not use facebook.

I hope you can solve it as soon as possible would be great.

All of my family have iPhones. I am a Motorola cell phone biased person. Don't like FB. So I will look for a family friendly village.

You are right, I saw the same mod post that they're looking into it in 2013, surely it doesn't take a year to add Google+ integration? I love Hay Day, and would love to add friends on my Nexus 7. It doesn't have to be Google+ - just a way to add friends like in Tapped Out - you tap in their username, and send them a request. Then, they can either reject or accept it. Simple! This would be good for trading in Android too.
