Clan War Mode On/Off

Hello everyone
While I am reading about clan wars ideas I thought my will be already mentioned, but it's not.
I think its will solve the main problem in clans.

My current clan is a family group they are from Europe and Middle East and have all ages 13-45 most of them are adult's and their families in clan also. The problem is most of them have jobs, housewife's, school..Etc. sometime they're busy or they go for vacation, sometimes it takes days or weeks to come back and play. Some of them left the clan because there's no participants in clan wars like no attacks and no war donation thats mean losing the war.

My idea is to make a bottom call "War mode On/Off", My point is people who cant participate in war they can put clan war mode OFF, so he/she will be excluded from war / War search. So people who put clan war mode ON that's mean they can participate in war.

Clan war mode Off = Do your job well, Study hard, get high marks, and dont harm other people in clan by your absent.
Clan war mode on = Are ready for clan war!!

Welcome to the forums. This idea is actually brought up a bit and I read somewhere that Supercell is finding a way to add this feature into the game.
Make sure to use the search function and read the stickies before posting.

This Idea is certainly a focal point for many players in clan wars, however in one of the stickied threads, Supercell has stated that for the short term, this does not fit in their ideology for clan wars, although I believe they are looking into ways to improve. In an edit I will find the Quote for ya :)

Edit: It's not in the stickied threads, must have been in a thread of someone with a similar idea, check out the search function at the top of the page, I'm sure I read it somewhere :p

Sorry I don't know that's. But I already mentioned this idea by Private Email to supercell long ago, When they reply to me and they said mention this idea also in forms. I looked at topics in forms I think I missed it.

i don't understand why supercell don't do this.

We have all kind of lvl and play style in our team.
We lost good members because of this, it became to complicated to manage.

This option would not arm anybody, and would help a lot of team enjoying Clash.

I absolutely agree.
It's really hard to manage a clan now a days, because game getting bigger.

I have seen on this forum, many members asking to have the option to choose which clan members will participate in a war.
This feature is very important to maintain the balance between the clans and also to avoid that a member has to be kicked from the clan for not participating the war.
I'm sure at some point, you don't feel comfortable to participate in a war or other, but even then, you had to join the war not to be kicked from the clan.
In some moments of our lives, we can not dedicate ourselves to the attack on a war because we have to study, to travel or be with our family and should be able to choose come on war or not.
Or, the leader and co-leaders could make this choice.
What do you think?

Hmm, well I already mentioned what did you say to supercell long ago by private email. if leader or co leader who pick members for war I think for some people isn't fair, while if he/she decided to be excluded from war for some reason ppl will have free choice to be or not to be. and its dont need to write so many codes to do thats.

Like adding red or green icon near each player in clan list just to know who is busy and who's not.

Extra information : I had played world of warcraft for 4 years, and having same feature PVP Mode ON/OFF. I think this feature is very important to any game have pvp stuff and clan members.

This is definitely one of those things that gets mentioned A LOT, and something there seems to be strong agreement on among players/leaders, so hopefully Supercell is working to incorporate a feature to address this issue.

There are essentially 2 basic options: have a button in each player's profile that they can set as active or inactive for war, and allow leaders to set the war roster.

The first is probably preferable, as it makes it so players don't necessarily have to alert leaders, and avoids having players that want to participate, but have the leaders exclude them for whatever reason (though I have to say if your leaders are doing that, you need a different clan, or different leaders). Giving the leaders control, however, also has its advantages, as some players may not log in to change their status, and leaders would rather exclude them than kick them out. Or the leaders may want to include a player that is inactive knowing they won't battle because they want to have a certain number of players active for war.
