Using Elixir for walls is a BAD idea!

Totally agree ...it's killed the game, over the past two days searching through different leagues you can barely find anyone worth while raiding & all you see is camps turning walls from pink to purple to black etc ....lack of troop donations in our own clan as well purely because people no longer have elixir.
At the very least the update should have given players the option to upgrade walls with elixir but itll cost you twice as much as coins but now the games just unplayable!!!!

Great game if all you want to do is log in once a day to collect your mines :(

why dude this update is awesome what you need to do is raid inactive bases and collect your elixir collectors your complaining that you can't steal someones elixir because they are spending it seriously!!!

Thats all I am doing right now. If the raids do not show more loot soon then I will help the cause out by giving up the game and letting my resources build up.

Of course, if I give up I will not be kind. I will design a base with collectors/mines deep inside, empty storages outside, and the resources heavily defended. Is this being a jerk? Maybe, but I want people to keep complaining to Super Cell so the problem gets fixed. Not just mask the problem.

You cant raid walls mate only storages & mines, the whole idea of the game is to attack people & win their loot not log in to your camp once a day just to collect your own mines so I am complaining about not being able to raid other peoples loot (whole purpose of the game) when no one has any.

Over the past 6 weeks id spent (through raids) 80mil coins on black walls (Town Level 8) making probably around 2.5mil coins & elixir a day ...over the last two days since this update ive been lucky if ive made profit at all!!!! ....this has stopped most people in our clan from donating or even wanting to participate in the clan wars

As for inactive bases or people that dont play the game anymore Supercell should come up with some sort of feature that hides them from the search after a period of time of inactivity ie 2-3months

stop complaining everything is not all about you! some people absolutely love being able to spend there elixir that has been building up and some people are complaining theres no loot in the game now I got news for you the collectors still gives the same amount of elixir it has always done just now people can spend there elixir that they earned and your crying that you can't steal there elixir because there spending it!

I believe bumping anywhere other than Clan talk is not allowed period, correct me if I'm wrong though :)

And to stay on the topic of this thread, disagree completely. I'm a TH9 stting in the 2400-2700 Range and have yet to see a significant loot change since the update. perhaps need you need to try to change in game variables such as trophy range

Definitely, in another thread which I'm far too lazy to find (probably the update feedback thread) someone posted the brilliant point that it takes more than 10x the gold to max a base than it did elixer pre-update. Something like 2.2 Billion and only 200 Million? I think this should have been in the game a LONG time ago, but better late than never thanks SuperCell!

and for you naysayers, Cup count 2637; First seach, 489K of each with 5K DE. Nexted once and found 400k Gold 200k Elixer. Loot is plentiful. Quit complaining and go hunt those cups :)

i don't get the fact that people are thinking this will have any influence on raiding, i mean, i'm a TH 9 now, and whenever i'm attacking i find raids with at least 300k gold and 300k elixer. and then come to think that all of those bases with over 300k gold could upgrade their walls with that gold. if they don't upgrade it with gold, i suspect they won't eigher with elixer.

the point is, the loot is bad after every update, just wait a bit and it will all be fine.

soooooo true after every update there is no loot because everyone is spending all there stuff on the new upgrades for example after the update I spent 7 million elixir on the lvl 6 dark barracks so now I have no elixir just wait a week and resources will be back up like normal
