Level 6 Archers

Hi guys,

I have been a long time lurker & got to learn a lot from the very helpful guides & posts.

I am currently early TH 9 & am cooking barbs to lvl 6. Was looking for any info if it is worth upgrading to lvl 6 archers. 4 hp & 2 damage points doesnt seem too great. I know it all adds up when u BARCH & use 40-50 archers.
Would getting giants first be better & then worry about archers later?
On a side note I am thankful that I hadnt upgraded archers yet. the 1.5 mil drop in the upgrade cost is a big saving :)

Worth it, especially they are cheaper now than before the update.

Lv5 archers die from one lv5 mortar shot, lv6 archer survives it. I think a lv6 wizard tower one shots lv5 archers but not lv6. That tiny bit makes a huge difference when farming

Thanks for the info ab6c. I dint consider the mortars while thinking abt the upgrade. That is definitely a big plus point to go for archers immediately after my barbs cook.

Now i just need to find enough bases to raid for elix. It seems to have dried out with evry1 dumping it on walls.

You will BARCH at TH10.. Upgrade/MAX your archers and barbs..

Go for giants first. Lvl 6 giants open up more options for attack.

I think it's more important to upgrade the archer first, since in the early stages of TH9 you need a ton of elixir i don't think you really need to "open up new attacks". BArch should be the number one lab priority at any townhall level IMO. But I would definitely put level 6 giants right after them, they definitely are very useful once your elixir upgrades are down and you need to focus more on gold/DE.

Thanks for the info guys... Been contemplating a lot abt it.... I do barch a lot but the increase in HP for the giants & the archer stat increase to level 6 had me thinking...

If you BArch I definitely think that's the right move. I'm a pretty new TH9 and I did Barbs first and started my archers right after the update. Giants are next on my list.
