All troops have died except for the Archer Queen and everything was destroyed except for the last Gold Mine, only 6 seconds left till time runs out, enough for her to destroy the last Gold Mine and get the three stars which is badly needed for the war win, but instead she chose to shoot the level 7 wall.
Why, Archer Queen?! WHY?!

But yeah her AI is totally need an improvement. I've experience this a lot.
Archers seem to love shooting walls and the AQ is no different. Same thing happened to me last war instead of walking to the side of wall where the Tesla and Gold storage were well within reach she decided to shoot the wall in front of the tesla so it was only two stars and 98%.
Troop AI on here is so bad its almost criminal!
Definitely needs to be fixed. I have had her do this on a few occasions. She attacks walls while a cannon just a couple of tiles away is blasting the robe off her.
Defense AI seems to have the sense of attacking something that is damaging it more often than not. Dont see why she shouldnt do the same.
Yeah, and now that she goes only in her range she is basically useless, i feel your pain bro, sorry.
The queen needs a bit more common sense.
I've seen many flaws in the AQ when attacking. This definitely needs to be fixed

Yea, I often find my queen acting the fool. Her longer range makes her even more unpredictable and it seems the worse the situation is, the worse targets she picks.
Many times it's come down to a couple clusters of archers and the queen. In these instances she tends to shy away from the last mortar and head straight for they air defense on her opposite side. The archers die and she's left alone to invariably attack the nearest wall...
She is good on defense now, hiding inside but within range of the hapless foes flanking the outer wall... but conversely the kings melee does nothing as he watches my storage get obliterated from 3 feet away as if to question their motives...

Before the hero nerf update, queen always go for storages and with maximum distance staying far. Now she always go beyond some walls. Even if she goes beyond some defense, she moves very close to it.

I didn't say it's right, but it's obvious what happen here. The archer queen target the building inside the wall, and it was destroy by sth else after he targeted the wall. What I don't get is she can walk a few block and target the building instead of having to break the wall to go target that building. She's not the only one do that. Archer, Wz do that sometime, too. Giants do that ALL THE TIME. The AI is dump.Quote:

The only explanation to this as far as i have observed in such situations is that the AI directed her to stand on a specific tile to hit the gold mine. What happened is that tile happened to be blocked by a wall. Hence, she started hitting the wall just to stand on THAT specific tile to hit the gold mine.
I have observed her pathing for long enough to come up with this explanation
Typical. This is to be expected of the AQ. I used to get frustrated, now I know, whenever I put down my AQ I expect it to do something dumb. Because she is.

but maybe they know about this a long time ago and dont want to fix it as they dont want to make the AQ OP?
on a side note. suppercell has lack of communication with players. they might be fixing bugs but maybe not? they should have a sticky post on the list of all the bugs they are fixing and the progress of them.
