I just started TH9, please help

So I have just completed my TH9, gemmed DE to get my AQ, but what do I do now? The base I have right now is a TH8 farming base with DE protection as priority. So now I'm stuck with a TH8 base with all the new walls and defenses outside. I can't move to a TH9 base just yet since I do not have the madly expensive X-bows yet, the new AD or the Wizard towers etc which take slightly longer to build. Any advice right now would be appreciated, thanks for your time for viewing, cheers.

EDIT: By the way, what I'm looking for is an advice on what base to be looking for. Where do I put the new defenses? The walls?

well right now, we are kinda having a loot crisis, so you might have to take longer to get your bows than other people did. try farming at crystal II or I, they both worked perfectly for me.

Did you max your base as Th8? Then it's perfectly normal! Farm that loot! the AQ will be very helpful there. just keep a good strong TH8 build and just add on each of your new buildings and use your new walls to kite giants with

Can't afford xbows? Make army camps your priority. After spell factory and lab of course.

I personally have been using Hannibal's base (no 4 on the list) since i started off TH9.

I do not have xbows either & plan on getting them only towards mid TH9 once i have lvl 6 barbs & archers & upgraded my mortars & wizard towers. I currently use the spaces for the xbows for my gold & elixir storages. I has worked pretty well so far however I am in gold 3 & dont get attacked by maxed TH9 & th10 guys very frequently.

You could try something similar & check if it works for you.

Exactly ^ (almost). You need to concentrate on getting your army camps and lab upgraded ASAP - to make your raiding army more effective - to bring in more loot for everything else. Only thing I disagree with is upgrading your spell factory first. Spells have no place in efficient farming and are for pushing/wars only.

Relax dude.. Follow the advice of the other guys' here.. U'll b fine mate..

Early TC9 is elix intensive after u get xbows, so barch bam ur way..

What I'm trying to say here is, what base do I use? I can't simply use a TH9 base with an empty slot supposedly for an X-bow right? Do I just leave the defenses out in the cold like that? Feels kinda weird

You should have maxed your storages while your TH was upgrading then once you hit TH9 you could have kicked off 2x xbows, lab, AQ to lvl2 and last builder working on your new defensive structures. That's what I did at least.

Stick with a TH8 base design until you have both xbows and your new defensive structures are mid level (lvl4-5) then you can move to a TH9 design. Most TH9 designs wont work well without xbows.

As others have already said, early TH9 is very lix intensive as you need to prioritise troop upgrade, camps, drills etc, if your keeping up with lix requirements then gold should come easily for defensive upgrades.

TH9 is hard for the first couple of weeks until you get some troops upgraded but don't lose heart. TH9 has been my most enjoyable phase of the game so goo luck and keep farming.
