New Hero "The Dwarf" *MUST READ*

The Dwarf is the mightiest mini Hero of them all!

Since he is a Hero he operates similar to the Barbarian King.
He lives on a 1x1 platform, which he uses to rest. Since he is a workaholic he needs to rest often.

While your village is being attacked
The Dwarf, coward he is! Will run and hide with the villagers in the Town hall during an attack. He provides no defense at all!

After your village is attacked
The Dwarf, a technical genius, works hard to re-arm allyour traps. Similar to how you gain money from attacking enemy resources, you will need to “Spend” money when this Hero works.

For instance if it costs 17,500 Gold to re-arm a Giant Bomb manually. When The Dwarf re-arms the trap, it will still cost 17,500 but may take 20 minutes to do. Therefore every minute the dwarf is working to re-arm this trap he is spending 875 Gold per minute. Once this trap is re-armed he moves on to the next one. He will re-arm all traps in the order they were sprung. If you have no gold in storage The Dwarf can “steal” it from your mines!!

Re-arm costs remain the same as if you were to re-arm them yourself
Trap : Re-arm Time
Giant bombs: 20 Minutes
Bomb: 10 Minutes
Air Bomb: 15 Minutes
Air Mine: 25 Minutes
Spring trap: 15 Minutes

If all Traps are armed
The Dwarf is always working. If all traps are armed and ready to go this Hero will look for obstacles to remove (trees, shrubs,trunks, gem boxes…) he will even remove tombstones. You still need to pay to have these things removed in the same fashion you have to pay for traps to be re-armed. Obstacle removal times will vary from 1 Hour to 3 hours, depending on the obstacle and removal costs the same price as if you were to do it manually. A Gem Box takes 6 hours to remove. Any loot, or gems gained from The Dwarfs removal will be stored in a Dwarf storage shed that can only be emptied manually. Once the shed is full any further loot gained will be lost (or left on the ground for attackers to tap, and pick up!). Enemy attacks can steal loot from the shed in the same fashion they steal from Storage bins (better clean this shed out often!).

If yard is clear of Obstacles and all Traps are Armed
At a certain level, say level 5, this Hero has an ability. The Dwarf has some settings that can be changed, similar to the X-bow(Land or Air targets). When the ability is unlocked you can set these options:

A. Collect loot from the Mines and Pumps and transfer it to the Storage bins. Because of his skills he is able to extract a little bit extra every time he transfers loot. Because of his dwarfed size, it may take him an hour to empty a mine or pump before moving on to the next one.

B. Since The Dwarf is extremely technical and helpful, he can help out his fellow builders by lending a hand. Of course this will speed up the building process a bit and in return will cost you some loot. Yes, he is immortal and likes to work, but unlike the builders he gets worn down and needs to take frequent breaks.

The Dwarf hates a good battle
When you release this mini beast during an attack on an enemy village The Dwarf will avoid battle at any cost. In fact fighting is his least favorite thing to do. Therefore his DPS is: 1 with his hit points modestly set at: 1,200. Because of his short stature Hidden Teslas do not detect him and therefore do no damage to him at all.

Rather than battle during an attack this hero would rather work. Again there are options that need to be set (like the X-bow) BEFORE you attack. The options are this:

A: When released The Dwarf will began cleaning obstacles from the enemy’s village, any gems found during the cleanup process are yours. Removal of obstacles will cost the same as if you were removing them from your town, and will take the same amount of time as if you were removing them manually. WARNING!!! This little guy can extract Gems from the enemy’s GEM BOX At a rate of 10 per minute!

B: The Dwarf can work to Dis-Arm enemy traps. The clever Dwarf has a way of finding traps. He is very fast with a speed of 50. When it comes to traps, nothing can stand in his way, don't let his size fool you, he can scale walls in a single bound! He will seek out the nearest armed trap (if a trap is already sprung he will skip it) and immediately dis-arm it. A trap cannot be sprung while The Dwarf is working on it. Even though any trap he touches will be immediately disarmed he will have to spend a little bit of time to make sure it is not functional. While the Dwarf is working to Disarm the trap the trap can have the same image that it uses while it is being upgraded!

Disarm times will vary based on the type of trap.

Giant bomb: 15 Seconds
Bomb: 10 Seconds
Air Bomb: 15 Seconds
Air Mine: 20 Seconds
Spring trap: 15 Seconds

Once all obstacles are cleared or traps are removed (depending on the setting)
The Dwarf will then began removing Tombstones left behind from his fellow troops, again any elixir found during removal are yours to keep!!

When The Dwarf is “killed” in battle rather than leaving a grey or black tombstone he may drop a gem or two in its place.

I personally think another hero would ruin the game since defending against two heroes is hard enough already.

Personaly, I don't think this would work out because when attacking, the whole disarming trap thing probably won't work out because his fellow troops would just walk on it before he could disarm it, and the speed at 50seems Op. On a different note, I really just can't him with the two giant heros because first off, he's the third one there making it kinda a different situation than 2 heros, and second, the size difference, I just can't see the two biggest troops in the game with the smallest. Last two things, gems are hard enough to get, I think it wouldn't be fair to the people without a dwarf because they wouldn't be able to get enough builders for a good village, and I what would the dwarf do for defense? Anyway, thanks for all your hard work, it seems really legit, I just think clash of clans isn't ready for another hero, maybe try a dark elixer type troop? Anyway, keep up the good work (other than all the junk I say'd earlier)! bye!

Honestly, this is a very well thought out troop idea. there are a few things I like and a few I'm not sure about. like the whole "transferring from collectors" this would render the collectors useless even though the process is slow. As far as removing obstacles from your base. I like the idea. but you said it can take 6 hours. What happens if you get on while he is working on one and you don't want to wait until he Is finished? Thank you for your comment! I appreciate your feedback. You gave me an opportunity to clarify a few things too.

Well the transferrring from collectors option is tempting only because you would gain a little extra each time the dwarf makes a transfer. Let me break it down a bit further.

So lets say the dwarf can collect at a rate of 133% of the hourly rate (obviously this number is variable and up for debate).
so on a pump that produces 2,200 elixir per hour the dwarf would transfer it to storage at a rate of 2,926 per hour (2,220 x 133%).
If the pump hasn't been emptied in 3 hours it would have 6,600 elixir.
If The Dwarf starts to collect from it at a rate of 2,926 per hour it would take @ 6 hours to empty it.

The advantage of this option would be getting that little bit extra. So let just say you get an extra 10% so if the Dwarf makes a collection run every 10 minutes that means he would be transferring @ 488 elixir every run but on the deposit he would add an extra @ 5 elixir. So in an hour he would transfer 2926 elixir and you would have gained 292 elixir extra.

And to clarify I said "Obstacle removal times will vary from 1 Hour to 3 hours, depending on the obstacle and removal costs the same price as if you were to do it manually. A Gem Box takes 6 hours to remove." so a mushroom patch for instance could take an hour to remove and a tree could take 3 hours to remove. The Almighty gem box however warrants a 6 hour removal time.

As for what happens if you want to remove the obstacle while The Dwarf is working on it... Well, it's a double edge sward here. Just like anything else you could Gem it? Otherwise you gotta wait!!

No the trap would be disarmed as soon as the Dwarf touched it. It would then take time to completly disable it. The dwarf would skip traps that have already been sprung.

Seeing as though he does not attack anything but traps i don't think its Op at all? He needs to be fast to get ahead of the rest of the troops to disarm any trap ahead of them.

Exacly, its a different situation!! Does not work the same at all, therefore adding value. As they say, size doesn't matter ;)

Honestly, given what he does I think the smaller size works perfectly.

Isn't that the case with any troop though? you would need to work your way up to it in order to get it. And if you keep your yard in order it would not be a problem! On this note as well, you can see that when The Dwarf is "killed" he may drop a gem or two behind, depending on how the pillaging went! Also, any loot gained would be stored in a storage shed. So, in reality there is MORE opportunity for players to find gems.

This is a great balance because it makes gems available, without actually created more of them.

Your welcome. I enjoy the game as much as the next and always looking for way to make it better! I do disagree with you however aboutCOC not being ready for another Hero. Time is Ripe right now! This hero adds value without changing the power too much!

Love the idea of the a troop or hero that disarms traps in battle, though not sure how he might reach a lot of them. (Side note: someone recently suggested a bloodhound or something similar that sniffs out traps.)

As far as the dwarf collecting gems, I was going to ask if priority be given to disarming traps or getting gems, but as much as I like the idea of getting more gems, lower level players would complain, and it wouldn't really be fair to them. You'd end up with higher levels dropping down really far just to gem farm, screwing lower players out of their gems and making it harder to get more builders. You would probably have to change the entire way matchups are calculated to avoid this.

Also love the idea of having the dwarf collect resources for you while you're not around, but I think Supercell will probably frown on this as well. Don't really see the point to having him rearm traps unless you're someone who just doesn't log in for days or weeks at a time, in which case the dwarf is enabling you to do something that Supercell doesn't really want you to do.

Overall, as cool as it sounds, I don't see it happening.

That's what it sounds like. The advantage I guess is that you don't have to log in. It would be better if the dude just did it. I mean builders don't get paid.

Yes kind of. The purpose is not so i don't have to log in the purpose is to help rearm traps after an attack, and disarm traps during an attack. have you ever logged in to the game int he morning and find you've been attacked like 4 times loosing huge amounts of resources each attack, until you finally got a shield. This could help out with out.


Also he removes obstacles for a cost yes. But the added bonus is you may not have a builder free for days to remove them.

Think of it this way. It adds depth to the game and actually will hurt you by not logging in frequently. When obsticles are removed any gems are stored in the storage shed. if you don't empty your storage shed reqularly you are going to lose those gems. I think that is a HUGE motivator to log in.

Also if you set your Dwarf up to tranfer loot to your storage bins you gain a little extra, so its kind of like a mini boost that you get for free.


Lets not forget as well a really big advantage the dwarf could give. He would help the builders complete structures faster!!!

This is not meant to change the balance of the game, its not menat to add muscle, it is meant to add some depth. The advantage is not so you don't have to log in the advantage is that you get a little EXTRA for having The Dwarf do it for you. In fact thinking about it. The Extra should be put in the storage shed and availabe to be looted (like the clan castle) This way its simple, you don't log in you loose it in a raid, that simple. It make more loot availabe as well.


Also I do believe builders does get paid??! Upgrades aren't free! Where is the money for the upgrade going? I believe the builder is getting paid to do the upgrade.

I was the one who suggested the Blood Hound. And although I support my troop idea 100%, I know this isn't a copycat idea. This troop is completely diiferent. So no hard feelings. Everyone has their own ideas and opinions. :)

The dwarf does not defend he just cleans up the traps so you won't need to defend against it.
