Game now unbalanced, update destroyed game play.

Here's my problem with the update


My town hall was updated to 9 about a day and a half before the update. My defenses are town hall level 8. But I am being penalized for upgrading my hall. AfterI upgraded I had about 2mil gold and about 800 k elixer. Spent most all the gold building the new walls, figuring I would raid to gain enough to start the other new items. In the past week playing several hours a day, I have made about 1mil gold, and about 300k elixer.


It's nearly impossible to find a fight that pays more than it costs me to fight. Everyone was saying people are spending after the update. however, that is not the problem. To illustrate this I will recount the last attack on my camp and revenge. Please not note I was attacked after going out for a smoke, so it was under 10 minutes and basically nothing was in the pumps and mines.


I had a little over 1million elixer, and about 600k gold, and about 6k DE.
The attacker had a level 7 town hall, using several dragons, giants, king, minions, and several other smaller troops. He managed to get 1 gold storage and 1elixer storage, I have 3, and do about 1/10 damage to a level 3 DE storage. but no damage to any other storage.


For his effect he received a little over 100k elixer, 55k gold, and 80 DE.


So...
100k+ from about 370k actual amount in the storage.
55k from about 200k actual amount in the storage.
80 from 10% of 6k or 600


That's about 30% of resources and over 10% for DE.


After checking his camp I saw he had 4 mil gold in 2 storages, and 1.5 mil elixer in 2 storages, and about 6k DE in a level 1 storage. On a fluke I hit revenge and he happened to be AFK. So I attacked.


Out of 4 mil, I was allowed to steal 100k gold
Out of 1.5 mil, I was allowed to steal just under 50k elixer.
Also for the DE, allowed about 60


Not saying this is what I actually took, just that is all I was allowed to steal.


That's less than 10% of resources.


So, even though I don't have most the benefits of the town hall 9, mainly because there is no way for me to get enough resources now to do that, I am severely penalized.


I can't upgrade lab, troops or anything else really, so my game is basicly over.


Don't believe the spin artists, saying its because of people spending their resources, it's not. It's because they deliberately made it worthless to play beyond town hall level 8 unless you were lucky enough to have already done so and managed to have enough time to upgrade your defenses, labs, and troops to level 6.


Well I am done with the game super cell has proved to me that their work is not worthy of my cash.

Yep, TH 9 loot is the worst in the game. The loot penalty hits you the hardest and the update just reduced what you can raid from storages, in some cases, by up to 20%.

Edit: also sounds like you rushed your TH, which makes it very difficult. Focus on army camps and maxxing out farming troops to help get you back on track.

There is nothing shockingly different here... If the person you attacked is level 7 the max you get from storages is 100k..

You all complain way to much, upgraded my town hall to level 9 and it finished on April 6. I realize this is before the loot penalty with this new update but I had more than enough time in the 10 days it took to build to max out my gold and elixer so the moment the town hall finished I stated my lab to level 7 (for level 6 troops) and 2 bows. I then quickly did some raids to start the new archer tower and air defense.

Now, even with the update the loot isnt that bad, i have more than enough gold to keep my builders busy, (I have never understood people that leave builders un used unless for walls, i paid for them, they are gonna work every moment for the rest of their lives), so even now after the new penalty i am able to keep all 5 builders busy when my upgrades cost a minimum of 2.5 mil gold and 2.25 mil elixir.

Edit: Also its all about defenses, i haven't been 2 starred in 12 days, approx. when my xbows finished and even then they only stole 40k gold and 100k elixer which is like 1/2 a raid.

Actually that's not true unless they did it in the update before this one, I was often smashed by th 9s with them getting full loot rights when I had th 7. However, I did not find that a problem as I could raid for resources just as well and at a reduced cost.

And if you find nothing different for your self, why even bother playing such a lame game, when there are much better for the same or less cost , or if your a hard core gemmer, much less cost?

It was brought in with a previous update that 2 townhalls down (L9 attacking L7) would get a max 100k from storages. If you saw anything higher it was a combination of storages AS WELL AS mines/pumps.

Not sure why you waste your time playing if you think it is such a lame game; I especially find it odd you feel the need to go into a forum and post? :confused:
If the game bothers you, adapt somehow or quit... although I don't recommend that as the game is still great!

i'm TH 9 before the update normal loot, after the update it just seems to be collector/mine base every second raid :)

Honestly, this isn't completely my experience since the update. I'm TH9, and since the update have raided about 7.5 mill gold. My elixir is almost full at 7.8 mill. As I'm waiting on lvl6 archers to upgrade I'm gonna have to start donating loads of pekkas just to get rid of the stuff. I've won 85 star attacks and am doing fine. My little league must be appalled at me for being higher in wins than anyone else by a country mile. And I was out all day today, not on CoC at all.

The loot is there, have picked up a few 450k bases, but mainly just easily beating 150k ones with half my army and occasional heroes. i don't even need spells most of the time, apart from lightning to blast CC troops if I feel nasty.

It isn't great, but it can be done. I'm enJoying it!

Well, if you actually read my post, you would see that quitting this game is exactly what I am doing.

Also no they stole the resources from the storages, I used have very low level pumps and mines, only updated the, recently, there was no way they could steal anywhere near 100k from them.

Hmmm well unless you can show me a pic of a +100k raid from a recent battle by a L9 I would say you are missing something somewhere.

And as for you quitting i'm sorry to hear that, good luck!
