Crazy idea for the new hound troop
This idea is a little bit crazy but please read the entire thing before discarding it. From my own opinion and from the opinion of many others that I have spoken to, on global chat and in clan chat, the new lava hound doesn't seem like it's getting much love, there is nothing special really to it. It's a troop that acts as a damage sponge that when dies breaks into smaller weaker versions, sound familiar? Oh yeah because it's the same as a golem besides the fact that it flies and its stats are a little different. So here is my proposal to give the troop something special: due to the fact that it is on fire the inferno tower shouldn't damage it at all. And here's the crazy part: what if the inferno tower could heal the hound? Not only would it make sense, the inferno is just adding more fire to a fire. If the inferno tower does heal it there should be a counter tower like an ice or water tower that damages it at 2 or 3x the speed of the tower's normal damage per second. At the very least the inferno tower shouldn't damage the lava hound. Thank you for your time and listening to my insanity.
Explanation for my thoughts
Yes I understand the lava hound is only available to those who have gemmed for it but I am in a clan with fairly good people mostly masters league who if they tried would easily be in champion, most of them have made the investment for the troop and have done many expierament attacks with the hounds and have had minimal success at seeing these troops as anything special, the troop is likely going to be neglected and forgotten about in the future if it stays as it is. I personaly am in crystal 1 and have already been attacked by these bad boys 2 times and each have failed. So if the inferno tower were to heal it the troop would have a buff to it and give it that new troop feel. If the inferno tower were to heal it the inferno tower should heal it very slowly not making the troop op just making it a little better. Also as I mentioned in my original message, there should definitely be a counter ice/water tower that acts as an anti hound. Just like how the tesla was mainly created to counter pekkas. Also inferno towers are very op and with their good range that they have you can spread them out nicely to cover a fair share of your base, if they were to heal hounds it would encourage base makers to center their infernos so the hounds cant get within range of them. I could keep going on with benefits that gameplay would have if the towers would heal these (soon to be neglected) troops. To tie it up I will leave you with what inspired me to think of this. It would only make sense, an inferno shooting one of these would just add two fires together and make it larger so to me that seems like it would make sense if they were healed by the tower. By the way, my grammar is awful and I apologize for any spelling or gramatical mistakes I may have made while typing this.
