Drills or barch to 6?

So I'm a new TH9 and I use barch. So should I first get my drills or barch to 6?

Few things to keep in mind:

-No DE down here and it could be stolen
-I farm in 1000-1100 range
-Not a lot of elixir down here
-I have 2 lvl 3 drills and lvl 5 barch right now
-5 builders

No, I'm not changing my range, unless you can find a range with better loot, my DE doesn't get zapped and I don't get smashed pretty much every defense.

The reason I'm down so low is because I don't have much more time to play anymore as in my TH8 days, so I can't afford to lose 350K of each and 2K DE practically every defense.

Seriously do you even play the game to have to ask this? You use BARCH all the time in your attacks and have to ask whether to upgrade it? Of course you upgrade it. The drills can wait.

Well I was asking because it doesn't seem much of a difference. I need DE, and my only source of income is drills, and I'm only battling noobs with barch, they're so easy, so I wasn't sure. Plus, lix is hard for me to get at this range. Normally it would obviously be barch, but in my circumstances, the answers could be different. I'm leaning towards drills, but I wanna see what everyone has to say.

Upgrade BARCH first, Mines, Drills, and Collectors are for other peoples benefit, if you want DE get in to the right range for it.

Do some maths, you can raid a ton of DE and lose a fraction of what you've stolen when you're attacked, same goes for gold and the pink stuff.

Or you can prey on smaller TH's with smaller TH's and keep a little bit more of your precious loot, and as you say pink stuff is hard to come by.

Some day you have to man up and get in the right league, may as well do it now ;)

as it goes, im farming in C2 without getting zapped or turned over every day, thanks to th snipers... I've been here for a few weeks and the most ive lost is 50% of what was available on 2 different occasions... so like 300k of g/e in total.

only there is loot and DE to be had up here.

actually, no, scrap that - I dont wanna share lol.
