The new loot cap is awful. I rarely see anyone over just 100 k who isn't sick over powered. I'm at 1300 trophies and am lucky to even break even on raids. If the plan to protect low level players means I just have to sit and wait for mines to produce I'm out. I need to research but can't without income from raiding which used to be fun!
I can't possibly fathom why low level players need to be protected. They can earn so much loot from attacking a higher level town hall and their upgrade costs can be easily farmed within 2-3 raids. <_<

They want to enable lowbies to easily catch up.
That being said, I had one of my best raiding weeks since hitting TH8. Maxed out in 2 days. 12 new skull walls for me.
I know the loot was reduced, but if you're having trouble breaking even, you must be doing something wrong.
So low end for me 15 giants at 2 k, 10 wall breakers same, healer 7k. That's 57000 not counting archers or other support. If I'm rarely seeing more than 100k since the patch how do u calc making good amount of elixir on that margin? Per patch there was significantly more avail. I'm 1300 or so on trophies.Quote:

Why not go for the cheap barbarian and archer combo? I keep a few wallbreakers and minions in reserve for bases that I need to use them against. I've been getting consistent 200K+ raids, and got a 550K one an hour ago.
