Tired of getting my @-- kicked

If this is the wrong spot, forgive me. If substitutions for profanity are not allowed, forgive me. But I like (really like) CoC, and it's almost getting where it's no longer as much fun as it once was.

My TH is a mid level 8, I've got all lvl7 walls, and most of my cannons are lvl 10. But I can't find a good balance between getting enough loot to get to the next big ticket items, and getting raided for all of my loot. So, I see one of two things: my base design sucks, and I can't raid for s-- t. (I usually get 100k of each per raid. )

so, any advice? I'm trying to figure out how to attach a pic, so if it doesn't work, I'll try in the next post.

what league are you in? and what lv troops do you got?
do you only go for collector raid or go for storage too?

For one, get a better base.
The Oski or Dark Defendum works.

Also, to attach a pic, (I'm gonna use imgur as an example) you upload it, get the link, and put it in like this.

There's a space before .jpg, after "whatever."
Remove it.
There's another space before /] but after [IMG.
Remove it.
(NOTE: The ".jpg" thing is different depending on your photo.
If you're uploading from an iDevice, it should be jpg.
If you're uploading from your computer or something, you need to find out the photo file type and replace jpg with whatever your photo file type is.
It might be the same, it might not.)

Try using Barch (Barbarians and archers), March (Minions and archers), or BAM (Barbarians, archers, and minions).
They're all good strategies.
Stay around 1400 trophies because the loot's pretty good there right now, I think.

If u can't beat them join them. I say u should farm and get a farming base.

Sorry, right now I'm in gold 3. Most of my troops are lvl 5, with the PEEKA and dragon at a 2 or so.

ill go for either. I always try to get at least a star, but I'll go for collectors only if they are all full and I can get them cheap. I normally don't go trophy hunting, but I don't want them to go to low....I'm around 1440.

first... th8s have it rough... very easily farmed by TH9s....

second... keep your TH outside on the corner... put some flags around it so ppl know u don't have it trapped if you have to... you want shields... where you have it currently is silly....

third .... keep your storages as far away from each other as possible.... there is nothing preventing any TH9 with lvl 6 giants getting to all of your storages.... if they have to attack multiple sides to get to it it makes it harder.. and that's all you're trying to do...

Also, 100k should be your minimum for loot.
It's decent.
Don't put your townhall inside your base while farming.
You can get free shields to protect your loot when you're offline and someone hits your free townhall.
Also, try putting it away from the base.
The reason is, (quote from Sparhawk's guide to pushing) "Also townhalls just outside of your base and within range of your defenses (aka partially exposed townhall) should be avoided as your rival will deploy more troops to take out your townhall and since they are already at your doorstep they might as well go in for the rest." -Sparhawk

Yes! I normally use 8WBs, 55 gobs, 55 barbs, and the rest archers. (200 army camp space) I'm trying to save my DE, so I'm not using any DE troops.

I'll check out the bases you mentioned.

If you see absolutely no loot for a few days, try moving up or down and try to "follow the loot."
