What is Nakama?

Nakama - more than just a clan, we are family!!!
Nakama Union is more than a feeder. We strive to create a terrific environment for players who love the game to learn and grow strong! Our goal was to recreate the great feelings of camaraderie and growth that we had when we first came together in our CoC career. We have close integration with our sister clan Nakama CK and members have a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon.

Players are free to play at their own pace, but we also have some members who are extremely active and help to push each other competitively in a good-natured manner. We can be chatty and a sense of humor is required :D

As a leader I have experience leading large groups to victory in online games and actively seek to foster and improve all members. Elders are members that have shown commitment to the game and to the clan and help to manage and mentor our members.

What is Nakama Union?

Our original clan Nakama CK has grown quickly and is filled with terrific members who are active and are happily maxing their bases. Due to continued interest in the clan from new players and friends, we are creating this second clan. This will be a place for players with slightly less experience to power up and learn the game while maxing their bases.

Players will be able to draw on all the experience of the higher level clan members due to our integration with Glassboard as well as constant elder and player rotation, allowing us to be a unified clan even across 2 groups!

We frequently discuss base layouts, raid strategies, post videos and anything else you may need to know to improve your play.

What is required of our Members?

We currently only ask that our members be mature, active, donate whenever they can and thank others for donations. We prefer our members to be a bit more social, but of course lurking now and then is no problem. It's nice to get to know our members as we are working towards building a family, not just an unstoppable army! ;)

We are currently looking for TH7+ min/maxers with 100% pink walls, and 4+ builders. Players that understand the need to max their buildings and walls before raising their TH and generally strive to learn the game more completely. Below are some of our core members' base layouts at TH7+ with max walls without gemming (aside from builders :D).

We are a Global clan so we accept players from all areas allowing us to keep our clan strong 24/7. At the moment we are looking for more EASTERN based players to balance the clan.

Guide to Using Gems Properly At the Start

Buy builders before ANYTHING.
The post below details the benefits of buying builders and how to use them. Post #8 is especially useful because it outlines the time saved by spending $20 and buying your fifth builder - 50% increase in efficiency. If you're going to play the game seriously just suck it up and drop $20 for an otherwise excellent game. Time is money :D

Lazy farming is just what's referred to as getting resources in the most efficient manner and not worrying about trophies.

Under 200 Trophy Farming

Farming under 200 trophies is a popular with some of the more hardcore community it seems. There are a lot of players with bases that are easy to raid for 20-100k res with few units. This is only suggested if you have a lot of uninterrupted time online and at least LVL 4 troops however. Going down below sub 200 requires extreme patience as players drop a lot of trophies on you in order to drop down resulting in the gain of 100+ trophies when you go off, resulting in you having to drop back down again. Sub 200 farming is great for quick walls but that's about it.

Farming Base vs. Trophy Base

Below TH9 it seems hard to keep your trophies AND your resources. So starting out a lot of more active players prefer to guard their resources and not worry about trophies since they're so easy to gain back.

The gameplay might have gotten you addicted at first but it is the camaraderie that you have fostered with your clan that kept you going with all the crazy banter, encouragement to push you a little more when you feel that no way you are going to finish farming those intimidating skull walls or simply to cheer you up when you had a bad day. I did not join a clan till mid TH6.

Our members love to give constructive advice when asked and engage in random nonsensical conversations at times, these are some of the reasons that made the endless farming more bearable. I'm proud of our family; I've grown from a noobie th6 who gave 1600 lvl3 archers a week (nope, our higher level members didn't discriminate my level 3s) to a new th8 with better knowledge of tactics and strategies (okay, I admit, I'm still a noob, just not that green anymore:p) and with a group of ever supportive comrades by my side.

Though Nakama Union is new, we are still fostering the same Nakama ideology and concept to budding clashers. We will have seniors members visiting; be charmed by our resident orientation ambassador, get tips about how to donate at a lightning speed from our machine, learn more about tactics from our Minister of Milltary and more.

This clan is really moving now, we have only been running for 2 days and are already at 23 members :)

Just to introduce myself, I came across from Nakama CK to help set up this clan as one of the Elders. From my name you can probably guess that I live in Dubai, so fairly central to East meets West.

Welcome to all the new guys, the latest being Milo. For a new clan we have some great Guys/Girls, with the majority having level 4 archers to donate and some level 5 too :) So you will get a pretty powerful Clan Castle to add to your army!

I guess the ultimate goal is to get as strong as possible and be able to hold our own against the 'Big Boys' and if we work together, donate regularly and help each other out we will all be able to achieve this.


But most of all lets have fun :) :)
