I would report this under android as that is what I'm using, but my daughter plays on an ipad and she is having the same issuses. The game keeps stopping and a reconnect box pops up saying cannot connect to server. I thought maybe it was my internet but my daughter swapped to cellular data on her ipad and still gets error box. I looked to see if others are having same problem but see nothing posted on here.
Loaded HD this morning, before connecting I get a pop up message saying there is an update so I click the button to go to apple store to update but I only get an option of opening the game, so I click it and I go back to HD loading page and then get the same message... This just repeats over and over. There is no update available and I can't play until I update!
Are you aware of this problem supercell?? :confused:
Have you tried again? We had some issues with it previously!

I'm having the same issue. I tried playing on both my iPad and my samsung galaxy s4. Both say that they cannot connect to the server. It doesn't matter if I'm using wifi or data. :(
I had to do an update this morning on the game, due to "bees" now available. While the download went quick. When I tried to connect, the yellow bar goes just past the ... where it says connecting. Then stops.
I get the message "Server not responding".
I've tried all troubleshooting. Restarting phone, force stop and relaunching app. Changing from wifi to mobile data...and it still will not connect.
Any other suggestions to solve this problem?

Yep mine is stuck too. Just sits on the connecting screen until it times out. Happens on both my devices.
VERY annoying!!!!!
