Reporting people

Not a bug exactly, but why is it so easy to report a person? I have accidentally hit report on my sister (or else my daughter did it). Should there not be a confirmation or a required reason given? It is right under the visit button and very easy to hit. Please change this! She is not going to be happy with me :(

Actually, there is a confirmation...a BIG one as a matter of fact. When you hit the report button, on purpose or by accident, a HUGE window pops up saying "Are you sure that you want to report (name of player)'s farm for inappropriate behavior?" Followed by two large buttons: "confirm" and "cancel".

So, there is no way of accidentally reporting someone. The only reason folks may not see this large confirmation is because they're not paying attention or they are tapping too fast.

I have not seen the confirmation button. I have reported people on accident and they have reported me too. It happens a LOT.

Actually, that's not how it works on the iPhone. You only get ONE confirmation. There is no "3 tap". Also, with the smaller screen, it is WAY to easy to accidentally hit the report button and then when trying to click away, accidentally hit the confirmation button.

I think some people forget that the app varies much more between the iPad and iPhone then many people think. The game plays the same, however, the differences aren't just between the way the looks. Functions seem to be different, as well. I've noticed many iPad users talking about the things that they can do, IE: triple tap spoken of above. We iPhone users don't have that. I certainly wish we did. LOL!

So on the iPhone you don't have to 1) tap the name of the farmer 2) tap the report button and 3) tap confirm?

I tried on my iPhone (4s). I have to tap 3 times to report someone:
1. I tap my neighbor
2. I tap report
3. I have to tap "confirm" on the confirmation box that appears if I do really wish to report my neighbor ( I don't though, so I didn't)

Yes, we tap the farmer, tap "report", and then tap "confirm". What I'm stating is that we do not have a "triple tap" confirmation option. I'm also stating that it is VERY easy to accidentally report and confirm a neighbor / player. The report and visit buttons are so close to each other on a smaller screen. Also, when trying to move away (tap on another part of your farm to make that screen go away) from the confirm button on the smaller screen, hitting that button is quite easy. It would be very convenient if iPhone users also had that triple tap option.
