Something I think is good for business.

If supercell made a 1 gem troop related building boost for just a week, the top players and many other players would be attacking right after each other and the trophies go up, therefore the competition just increases really much, so people would take the game more seriously and maybe buy gems, I think this is a good thing for supercell.

There are deff many upsides to 1 gem boosts. I think SC would really benefit from making these boosts more common. Bring in much more business. also helps to solve loot problem with boosted collectors.

yeah well i think so too because when someone just goes from gold II to like master II in a week, then he gets serious about clashing and might start buying gems so it is basically good for supercell

The problem with the 1 gem boosts for troops is that it is expensive people would be bankrupt when it comes to elixir However I do love the 1 gem boosts for Heroes as they don't cost anything! I would be happy for a 1 gem boost for a few hours :)

i meant one gem boost for barracks and spell factory, and how would this make people bankrupt????

What he means is that people would bankrupt on elixir making so many troops.
Any standard trophy pushing army can easily run someone around 400k-500k+ elixir depending on composition and spells, multiply that by the boosting speed and you will run out pretty fast.

Sorry, but i still do not get the point at all well if you raid every 1.5 hours, you will get the same amount of me (if we say you raid the same base) as when you attack it 4 times sooner. So you spend loot and gain loot, but it just happens faster than usual, why would you lose more elixir.

is it about the collectors and stuff?

See we tried barracks boosts once. The problem was it led to people drying out good raids out of circulation 4x as fast - and loot was a wasteland.

Agreed. Although I don't have a problem with any 1 gem events, it's not the way to increase the economy. To add to the economy, we need boosts that bring more resources into the game. Barracks boosts just allow more resources to be moved around, but it doesn't add anything. And since more raiding requires more resources to be expended, it actually depletes resources over all.
