MindBlower: TH9 DE Farming Base

Just got all of my storages (including DE) taken
His army composition:

18 Giants
9 Wbs
38 barbs
59 Arch
24 Gobs
2 Wiz

4 healing spells
BK: 15
AQ: 22

I'm not at all disappointed in this base. I must say that it has been holding up great. Been using it for the past month and no more than 2 gold storages had been taken; no DE stolen from storage, until now. This attack from an experienced TH9 (1 billion gg, btw) wreaked havoc on my still to be upgraded base. I shall be posting screenshots of my defense log later today.

Nothing wrong with this base for what is was intended to, which is protect DE during later stages of th9.

Our clan exploits open bases like this all the time in CW. Logowiwi, hogowiwi or traditional gowiwi wreck havoc against open layouts like this. If you come across this base in normal raids and have normal farming troops, figuring out how to hit it and get all the loot can be very tricky. However, against a good CW attacker where they can study the base and plan an attack, this base begins to break down.

This is a beautiful base design that does one thing very well, but does some other thing poorly.

Best features:
- Looks cool and is unique
- Heavily protects DE better than most other bases

Worst features:
- Loses gold/elix more than other bases
- Natural weakness in CW

Sorry I haven't got on kik yet, RL been super busy lately and our clan is doing a push atm.

Gl on the push. I agree its not the best vs gowiwi, but it keeps troops away from core, so hopefully when they get to core their army is dead.

I think it would be different story if you got max defense....

They came from the TH and two wb reached a vulnerable spot of the core. But DE stayed with me again
