Yea. I would not recommend this for an early town hall 9 as you need gold and elixir. I am just grinding out walls and heroes so I never have much gold or elixir so they don't need too much protection. I might need to work on a little more protection for them because I finished legos last night and will have to do a few lavas before th10.
I am pretty stoked that I finished!
Almost forgot about this thread Jordan.
I like the design Erighan. I think the one struggles with an open layout tends to always be Giants. Now with your trap placement, that may mitigate that risk.
The bottom of your base is the weakest point as it only now takes give or take 6 wbs to get to core and that is a common place for people to start attacking with the TH being down there. I like how you strengthened the sides, but again Giants tend to march around this base. Join our Kik group as we have some good ideas running around in there.
Here is my rendition. I found that many attacks my CC would lure the BK and ground troops to enter my core to kill my CC. My last few times my DE was hit was for two reasons: all teslas were down and CC would lure troops to attack core (primarily the BK). Then, the Bk would take his big @♥♥ sword and beat down my de. The new layer of walls slows down that ground attack, while also protecting my other defenses to kill any intruders. When I get my teslas back I imagine this would be a good combo.

I was looking forward to testing this base out until I found out who the creator was, and his predisposition to bash other base designers - particularly labyrinthians - when his opinion doesn't coincide with everyone else's.
Healthy perspective there bud.
Thanks for the feedback Dredd. In theory, it would take 6-8 wbs to break the core, but in real attacks scenarios, it requires 10+ and I have yet to see it actually happen. If you look at the bottom of my core, there are two corner sections made of walls 3 layers deep. Wbs would have to clear the outside compartment, then make it past the wts, xbows and other defenses before hitting one tip of the core. If they dump the wbs in waves, they will either break the adjacent outer section, or head to the other tip section on the bottom core where they have to blast through another 3 wall layer. The only way for them to have any chance is to first clear the outer compartment, then send a wave of 6-8 wbs under rage with their other army troops and hope they don't pop from the defenses shooting on them. The only time wbs made it to my core was from a side attack, which is why I added those walls. Since then, no troops have made it inside :)
And yes, a simple jump spell will let troops into the core, but that is a weakness of every base. If someone comes equipped with a jump and some wbs, there isn't much any base can do to prevent that from happening. This is rare because the only time people bring jumps spells is when they try for a revenge.
Lastly, the funnelling works great. As you can see most of the attacks have been from giants and they barely scratch the base.
