Thinking i might have to leave my clan soon...LONG POST

i've been playing coc for two months, currently at th level6 soon to be th 7 after i've maxed out my barracks.
I've been in my clan from the beginning, it's the only one i have been in as i don't like hopping. I joined because my husband was also in that clan.
Lately it's been getting on my nerves being in that clan. The leader seems to be losing control, she gives out free elder to anyone who joins. I HATE that, surely titles should be earned by loyal players who donate troops, give advice and who have been in the clan for a while proving they are loyal! Or maybe that's just how i see it. As soon as i joined i was given elder.
I donate a lot of troops, usually 1000 plus troops to other players who often don't even say thank you.
I recently got given co leader, most people would be happy with that but i'm not. Co leader to me should be the highest honour for a player, who has been in the clan for quite some time, has a strong base, helps out other players and donates etc. I donate a lot and help out other players with questions they have but i don't feel i have earned co especially as she has about 13 co leaders in the clan promoted for less than i was. It just doesn't feel like i have earned it, co leader in my clan feels like a bit of a joke.
Ok, so i'm a co leader. Great! When i make a suggestion to help make the clan better or run smoother i am fully ignored. Discussions about the clan seem to happen better about three of them, i try to join in the conversation but again i get ignored. So then if my opinion is not important or valid, why have i been made co leader? I feel co leader position is being used to keep players in the clan and stop them from moving to other clans.
Despite all this and feeling the time is right to find a clan that is more suited to me, i feel somehow obligated to stay in the clan because i know the players in a way. I feel that i should be loyal. However, i don't feel respected or appreciated so is now the time to move on?
My ideal clan would be one that:
a) makes players earn co and elder. Not through just a certain number of troop donations, but through donations, length of time in the clan, helping other players, contributing to clan wars even if they get no stars. Co should be reserved for the very loyal, respected members and not half the clan being co!
b) i don't want to be warring constantly. One war after another is just tiring, it doesn't give me chance to collect gold and elixer, upgrade troops and defences etc
c) active clan chat. I love it when players chat to each other and get to knoweach other, give troops and tips to other players.
d)Makes every member feel valid and important. Clan decisions ultimately should be for the leader and her (hopefully few co leaders) to decide upon. However, for me my perfect clan would ask members and elders for their opinion on potential changes and where the clan is succeeding or going wrong.
e) One rule for one. In my clan it feels like there are certain players who can get away with whatever they want and not get reprimanded. Eg; one co leader keeps sending out clan mail threatening to kick farming players without permission of the leader. He doesn't ever get reprimanded for it.
f) Strong war win history
g)An established clan with full or near full membership


Sorry for the long rant post, looking for opinions and such. Also if you think your clan is what i'm looking for then let me know and i will join if you are happy to have me.

You and your hubby should find a better clan. Since TH6 players typically don't get into intermediate to advanced clans, they often get stuck in clans that are A) Not very active and/or B) Run very poorly.

I remember when my wife and I were both in the Top200 of a different mobile game. Was great fun for both of us. Find a better clan--you guys should be enjoying your experience. Finding a good clan can sometimes take several days of trying out a couple different ones. Take your time before settling in.

Hello! As said above, finding a good clan at TH6 range is very hard. Most don't have rules, can't keep members, and often and inactive... But I think that I know a clan for you!

Sparto Agoge is an established clan with a range of TH5-TH8s. Sparto Agoge is part of the Sparto Family, which consists of 4 main clans. Spartomans, our main clan, has been around since late 2012.

Sparto Agoge is the newest clan in the Family, but they are almost always above 45 members, so it is hard to get in. Agoge has good elders/coleads, who are active, and help new members get used to the clan and help them grow. Agoge wars once per week, usually on the weekends. They fill clan castles with good troops, have rules to help them win, and attacks are always used. Agoge has never lost a war. Once you meet the requirements for Sparto Protege/Legion you are certainly welcome to move up! I hope you consider joining, if not good luck with finding the right clan for you!

I have just searched and the clan is completely full 50/50 members, shall have to wait until someone leaves.
I do like the idea of a family of clans actually, moving up to a higher one when you have reached a certain level. I like to get to know the members of the clan I am in, don't like it when people keep leaving.

The clan I am in at the moment is at 41 members with loads of people joining for a few hours then leaving again.
i feel very disloyal leaving as it's the first and only clan I have been in, but too many things are wrong in it for me to stay long term. Like I've mentioned I've tried to make suggestions, since I am a co leader I thought they would be taken on board. Nope! I'm ignored!

The people in my clan certainly want to win and move up the ranks but their tactics are to threaten members with demotion or being kicked if they don't use their attacks within the first few hours of the clan war. Not really working since people keep on leaving.

As others have noted, you are in a poor spot right now, but finding a better clan is possible.

First, look at the forums. Lots of clans there and you can post in the looking for the clan section.

Second, don't join free elder clans.

Third, look for clans with donation requirements. For lower level clans, 100 per season is ok. But 400 per season is much better.

Fourth, look for adult clans. A 10 year old clan leader is a recipe for disaster.

Fifth, don't be afraid to try one out. One of clan members, a loyal member of eight months now, said he had been in hundreds of clans before finding ours. He joined just to try and beat the donations record in the clan. Instead, he found a permanent home. Another was a nomad, just getting troops from donating clans, until he, too, located our clan and tried to break our donations records.

If nothing else, you can start your own. Since you have your husband, you have two already. Be active helpful and supportive and people will stay.

I'm sorry to hear that your introduction to clash has been a hard one! However, I'd like to offer you a chance to make the rest of your clashing experience better! While being a TH6 usually makes it hard to find a decent clan, here at Obscuro Vorago our goal is to provide a friendly and well run clan to the newer players of clash.
