it's more of a hit or a total miss, also, the lower ur TH level is the better to go sub-200, but ur th8 and the loot penalty for u is significant

Just went to sub 200 with my th8 account. Its kind of waste of time me. Also consider elixir consuming when moving back to gold league again.
Stay around 1500 and you'll find plenty of collector raids. You can loot for much more around this range with BARCH (quick and efficient army for collectors). Save your time and your elixir.
