How did you get barb king at TH7?

I'm currently standing on 2.5K DE i got from a zapping run in Gold III
However i feel this might not be the way to go about it... Lots of people on the forums and in game seem to want to oblitterate any scrub TH7 that tries zapping in the most through and humiliating way possible.
So assuming most people on here maxed at TH7, how did you go about getting the 10K DE back then?

Giant healer wiz th 8's who have 500-1k de in storages (gold 2 - gold 1)

or mass drag

another alternative is to 50% one of the top guys in clan wars ( as soon bases put most of their buildings outside) and collect the 2 k de

I raided a lot. Didn't really Zap for DE, Hit Next and Look for minimum 1000 DE to Hit. Did that over and over.

I planted a banana tree. Instead, Barbarian king sprouted out.

Zap is ineffective, i just used giants and heal spells to hit storages in gold 3 at about 700 de or more. Backed em up with barbs, archers, and wbs. Got my barb king to level 5 at th7 this way, plus upgraded my de troops.

who cares about what people on the forums think most of them complain about anything so if zapping is working for you then why stop also go for drills that's what I did when I was th7

Same here, I went berserk with raiding for 72 hours. I got it within that time as well. You just need to work hard for it.

I got to 8.5k DE in gold and then gemmed the last 1.5k. Right after that I started my th8 upgrade. If you are too lazy to raid for it all. And are close to maxing, if wait till th8.

I'd reccomend going to gold 1 with you th out of range of defenses but in range of the camera (NO TH TRAPPING!). There are a few inactives. Raid DE drills that have solid squared stone foundations with a light gray ring around them only on inactive bases. You should have your barb king within 15 raids, no joke! I get 2500 sometimes off 3 dark drills!
