Suggested Feature: "I'm quitting, for super-serious, you guys" auto-feature
Now, I feel we all know the real reason people stop playing Clash. It's not because of things like boredom over a long period of time, interest in other games, lack of time for the long grinds, but it's 100% of cases "A change is coming and I haven't even seen the results yet, nor have the patience to see how it goes". At least, this is what the forums lead me to believe everytime SuperCell changes anything whatsoever.
So, I propose that a "I'm quitting, for serious" auto-feature is enabled. Linked from your forum account to your game account, when a poster submits key phrases like "quitting forever" "ruined forever" and the like, an option pops up in game, saying "You've declared your intent to leave forever. Are you sure?"
If selecting yes, the base is remade into optimal farming position, collectors and storages moved to the outside, defences on the other side, and the message "Back soon!" is made with the walls. These bases are pushed to the front(ish) of the nexting crew everytime they become active.
If selecting no, your post is removed and you receive a message in your PM's saying "You decided not to "quit forever". Welcome back!" and maybe a posting suspension for a day so the person can get ther emotions in order.
This would acheive:
*Posters backing up their word with in-game action.
*Supercell would be able to see how man bases defaulted to the "quit forever" build, and would have an accurate representation of how many truly are upset and could adjust accordingly.
*Loot problems alleviated somewhat.
*A cleaner forum, not filled with hand-waving freaking out.
*Possible worldpeace, (in a future update, of course)
