New Iphone 6 and 6+

Hey guys, i just was curious with the new iphones coming out(mine is already preordered) does supercell need to do anything make the game look smooth on the bigger screens or is that something apple takes care of? Will it be supported day one? Im excited to play clash on a bigger screen when im no with my ipad. anyway sorry if this thread is useless. Have a lucky day!

The iphone 6 screen is worse than most phones from 2012. Regardless the game will look fine. Anything over 720p is lovely tbh.

Not a useless thread at all! It's refreshing to see a thread not about the update.. I'd assume it won't be supported day 1 because the new iPhones are running iOS 8 and I don't believe this version of the game is compatible. Maybe the new update will have iOS 8 support though, we'll have to see!

Of course it will be supported out of the box. the developer kit has been out for months.

Actually, I have the developer beta version of iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 and have been running CoC on it for a couple months now with no problem at all.

I just preordered the regular 6 instead of the + because its not worth clashing on a bigger phone if it barely fits in my pocket lol

Yeah, i went with the 6 myself. The plus just seemed a tad to big for me lol

Mine also but im assuming supercell had it in place to work on the ipad dimensions. The question was if it would be supported for 4.7 and 5.5 inch screens day one.
