+10 agreed. There is a reason TH10 is the highest level of TH and should definitely be rewarded for being OP because of the loot penalty and extremely expensive upgrades.

As for premmies, that's the price they pay for rushing. And the thing is: Premmie TH10 with poo defs usually barely have ANY resources (most of the time it is less than 100k because they usually spend it on the low level defs/walls which costs very low), thus not worth the trouble of farmers in the first place.

Only thing I want does have elixir requirement is max out troops first, the one and the only thing to do with lix, apart from lvl 10 barrack, I don't make Pekka regularly so i don't need to max out my barrack, just DE barrack which im saving up for lava hound. Not sure if its great or bad since i cant make ballooning for week or less and "hot dogs" take up to 30 spaces ♥♥♥? I know there act like golem but they only target air defence, don't u seem that is great but 30 space is SOP? "Super overpowered"

One of our co leaders had 911k Lix available this morning - someone raided nearly 300k of it with a handful of troops and then quit the fight. I'm guessing they had GOWIPE or something and did not want to waste the full army so used the wizzies on the lix...

Wish I was coming across these massive loot raids - so far today I am lucky to see something above 100k. Since ive been writing this I have been searching for a fight - probably up to 5 mins by now (type, next, type, next)...It probably wont surprise most of you to learn that I have not seen ANYTHING offering 100k+ gold yet. 84k across 4 TH10 storages is the tastiest so far...Mmmmmm

Th8 get two defense upgrade levels, th9 one.

SC have nothing to do with update delay, its apple.

And last ,you th9's, don't be afraid of th10 with ITs. If its premmie, you can take most of his loot anyways. Even well developed th10 can be prey if you use strenghtened barch army. I'm using 4 giants and 8 wizzies, sometimes also 2 witches, cos keeping dark down. If i got both heroes up, i can take most loot from 10's also. Just need some thinking, not blindly spam troops.

Update Release, Nothing To Do With iOS8

No idea why people keep saying this.

Apple has over 80,000 employees working for them in multiple departments of their main HQ and even more in their retail outlets.

There is a department dedicated to the iOS releases and a department for application/update approval, and numerous other departments for other things like product creations ect.. none of which coincide or interfere with the process of each other.

Therefore, the release of the Clash Of Clans update is not being held up for any reason other then SuperCell wanting to hold it back on their own free will. The developers can submit an update for approval, but also pick a date of when the update will be released in the app store, same goes for Google.

Apple approve takes usually few days. Supercell staff member (forgot who) said they try do sneak peeks in advance so that approve is done when sneak peeks end. Sometimes timing won't work like in cw update or now. So SC decided to give us gem boost while they and we wait apple to give approve.

Edit. Supercell does't give exact day, because its not on their hands. Is that so hard to understand?

I think there is a mix of factors at work here.

People still need to save lix for lix upgrades. We will still see it in the storages.

However, we will see less of the 400k lix bases, as many of these (not all) will be the fast wall farmers - I don't raid
these anyway, so nothing changes here for me.

Players may focus on bases with some lix rather than solely on gold, which might ease the pressure on the gold economy.

There may be a move from more expensive armies to cheaper armies (loons become giants, giants become BAM/Barch), which will increase pressure on collector bases and those with storages that are easier to get.

For me, it's too easy to tell what will happen. The final point I made could be critical to the perception most of the forum farmers will have.

Playing at Cristal 1, my army costs more or less the victory bonus, this added to the stolen elixir, elixir is almost always raising quietly.

I am done with buitdings that are paid with elixir (except the dark baracks to come withe the update) but still have a lot of troops to upgrade.
I have :
Barbarians 6
Archers 6
Dragons 3
Pekka 1

which i want to level up to the max, obviously my storages will be filled for some time again, and the loot to get from me will still be high !

I agree, no change to Champs. I think the biggest change will be in Crystal and Masters. No change expected in Gold, as there will always be lots of collectors to farm/Barch, even if elixir storages dry up.

If it would take another 4-5 days I would expect SC, being the good communicators they are, to issue a statement about an unexpected delay so I still expect the update today or tomorrow which is consistent with "by the end of the week" anyway.

Crystal 3 at the moment. I know how to move up and down ranges...but it seems dry this morning....

I also think there is more than just range to loot...I expect that people's bases sit on different servers and that this has an impact on what opponents we see. This seems to be the only logical explanation behind seeing the same base 3+ times when skipping in crystal league - i a league with millions of players in it. In theory. you should skip through every available base in the entire league before seeing the same base again in a search but that clearly does not happen...

Result - We are both at 2k cups. I see great loot but you dont - or vice versa, etc

I'm sitting on full storages, trying to protect 6 Mill elixir whilst raiding for more gold for my walls. I can be raided a few times a day and loose alot of elixir... But I have a farming base so people usually go for my TH.

Well, its possible since the one SC Mod said in this thread that the update was planned for Thursday but since apple was backlogged due to their event. And since the Mod said the CoC was backlogged I would assume the Hay Day update was as well. So since the Hay update was approved it would go to say that the CoC one was as well. So hopefully it does come today.

p.s. Those who asked which thread the SC mod confirmed it was a delay with apple, it is in this thread. Happy hunting.

You do. To clarify, when my next builder finishes, I'll dump my elixir into walls. I have more gold and DE/hero upgrades waiting, so i don't want to waste builder time on my elixir upgrades. Especially if I can use the elixir on Legos.

Im pretty sure apple delayed it on purpose after the last update, which cost them a lot of refunds. I do not blame them.

when are we fixing how heroes on defense work? How about removing the rediculous extra damage to hogs? Some people researched hogs for months and now cant attack strong in war because supercell killed their army. When will we get answers?
