It's an anti AD weapon, deploy troop and it runs to the wall, deploy air behind it and it either jumps up or shoots down the rocket before it hits your air troops.
so tactics and careful deployment (prob behind a golem/giant/pekka) are required.

There is no point in saving DE for a possible upgrade to the new troop. You can always get that DE while your barracks are upgrading. You can not begin the upgrade until the barracks are done.

I can't see a troop attacking a specific defence. No other troop does this.
If a troop targets AD primarily, you could just spam these in and destroy the AD, then let them move on to destroy the rest of the base with ease.

Someone suggested turning the photo side down. I can make out a character looking in a downward direction, with something rocklike on its head, the foot of something maybe (edit:or a goblins hat? ) A bit goblinish in appearance actually.

basically what I'm saying is that it won't attack AD first. Everything else is highly likely. But no way will it attack AD first.

Yup, definitely an air troop - most likely an air tank (air equivalent to golem)
are the same thing, we already know new troop is coming but supercell still not telling what troop...why the suspense? they really have so little peeks to show and they have to play around with shenanigan?!
My guess is some flying defense targetting unit to counter higher levels of def at th9/10 and because DB currently have none, while normal barracks have balloons
Good post sir! From the second video seems like he gives more clues. Definitely a flying troop because he shows the airplane in the background, he even changes the model airplane in the second to show it was intentional. Second he has a "lava" lamp in from of him to hint it's clearly fire related and third he has this axe looking thing that he shows right at the end. Not sure what that could be but it must mean something. Other things I noticed is the random lamp in the background and also the hulk mask. Could just be a reference to the "tank" style of the new troop.Quote:
