No, people will still do that, but the thing is... A lot of people (myself included) have finished all their lab upgrades and sit on max elix 24/7 with nothing to spend it on, and will either offer 350k elix or throw some storages outside and give it away... Thats how new town halls live... They raid those people that are one th down with fill elix and do their camps/lab/sf ect, and not that will all be spend on walls

those people saving up for archer upgrades won't be able to find much elix to save up since all the people with max storages are gone
and those people usually will get on for a few hours and try to get most of it if not all of it and then upgrade whatever it is, not raid 200k elix and get off so someone can smash them and take 350k back

A th8 going for lvl8 walls might take 2 month to upgrade pre-update. It is fait to say that post-update that will be cut in half. So, the village will start stockpiling elixir a month earlier. So to recap ...

Pre-update: 2 months with full storages
Post update: 1 month with empty storages before going back to full

I fail to see how that can have a huge impact on the available elixir.

Yeah, but do spells costs 500k, 1 million, 3 million and 4 million?

So people are complaining there will be less elixir to farm? Before this update there was lots of elixir to farm because nobody wanted the damn stuff!

What is the point in having lots of elixir in the economy if half of the time nobody wants it for anything?

No, but take a look at all the bases you next. Most players dont follow the logic strategy in this game, they just play. You also need to start thinking of it as a whole economy to see the picture. Elixir can now be dropped without any building time straight into walls. Even a small decrease of total elixir will make it much harder to find. Farming elixir with a new TH9/specially TH10 was actually pretty hard, and I still have to be carefull about using formulas to save enough for research.

I think the new possibility upgrading walls with elixir is great, been waiting for it. i often have too much elixir.

I am still going to keep lots of it when the push to champs is coming up. and for donations and cw.

We still haven't seen the rest of the sneak peeks, there should be something in store for us regarding the loot?

People also seem to forget that many players will choose to save up for the elixir upgrades. So I don't think it will dry up?

Well, I respect you as a farmer, but could you tell me what exactly a lazy farmer is and why they're so bad?

I think the next sneak peeks would be lvl5 valks, new dark troop, and possibly something related to elixir/loot/farming.
Oh and i predict th10 will get more walls, thatd stop some complaints too.

I am happy I can use all my elixir on my walls (already maxed elixir upgrades) but I wasted so much gold on walls :(
In th10 all elixir upgrades are between 6.5-8 million it will be tough i guess.

Also, there are usually 5 sneak peeks, 1 per day. After the sneaks come there is usually 1 day before the update, so 5 days from now, which is this Saturday.

generally, there are 3-4 sneak peaks i.e. 3-4 days and update is 1-2 after sneak peaks. so maybe SUNDAY or MONDAY.

Oh my god I have never been this excited about an update! YESS right as I'm about to finish th9 and go to th10, they add L7 tier 1 troops and lower valk training time (i farm with barch and sometimes throw a few valks in to help with storage raids)

All good by me, my first ever extended barching started a month ago.

What does everyone think about this?

SC is it too much to ask to reduce the valk training time by 3 minutes? Even better would be by 5 minutes?

Valks are awesome troops and their Hps, Dps and de cost is currently FAIR. However it would be nice to be able to build 5-6 an hour so they can be better utilised in the game.

Valks in numbers are good so I understand the long training time but at the moment the training time is seriously insane. I try to use 12 per raid and that's 1.5hrs wait ://

Supercell can u comment what your thoughts are pls? Are u considering a training time reduction for valks in the near future? Or would your solution be a 3rd dark barracks?

Level 7 archers? Level 6 already are already overpriced as it is, so what level 7 gonna be 8m elixir? With the elixir being able to go onto walls? Still not seeing how any of this improves the economy? It's just made it 5x worse..:rolleyes:

This has been long awaited for for TH10 to ease farming. Good stuff! Also means that level 6 arch will get a prize reduction, so TH9 can still rejoice.

Sounds pretty awesome but I think only the th 10 people would be able to get em .

Why supercell? Why keep giving th9s more and more troops and levels for th10s that will make th9s getting smacked all the time?
