I'll wait until they explain how they plan to boost the economy after this wall change, if walls can use either gold or elixir you people are in for a rude awakening if you think the economy is bad now....hell without a significant economical boost DE will be the most plentiful resource
Don't listen to everyone complaining, they don't understand the full circle effects of this.
Well this will help the people who are lazy and complain about upgrading walls, but arnt walls supposed to be an accomplishment and hard to get. This makes getting lvl 11 walls way to easy. This idea gets a down vote from me
I dont....
That's a gross oversimplification with made up numbers, but essentially yes. As I've said previously, new players have to have some way to catch up to previous ones, otherwise it's hopeless for them. I'm an advocate of small, incremental steps to acheive this, but I'm not fundamentally opposed to the wall change on these grounds.
Depending on how you define greed, this isn't really what this is about either. This seems like it's part of SC's overall strategy to do exactly what I said above, which improves the lifespan of the game. This change doesn't force anyone to pay, doesn't make gemming any more effective, etc., but it will show results over the course of months, if not years. I personally wouldn't throw the "greedy" label on that, but under a broad definition of it I can sorta see where you are coming from.
Yes, but this is backwards looking hypotheticals. What you did in the past with your elixir has no effect on what you can do with it afterwards. It's like seeing the winning lottery ticket and saying "I wish I had known that yesterday", sure you do, but it doesn't affect you going forward.Quote:
I disagree that elixir income or loot will be messed up but I do hate the fact that I wasted so much elixir while people who are behind me will be able to utilize that.
Yeah, this goes back to my point about catching up. Sure it bothers advanced players that people are catching up, but why would your cousin ever play as much as you if there was never any indication he could catch up?Quote:
My walls will be soon done so I will upgrade my th and will put my builders to work and I wont be doing walls for bajillion centuries till my defenses are max BUT my cousin will get the advantage of USING ELIXIR FOR WALLS while I wasted all that elixir when I was in his position..............
If you don't understand that You can reply back and I can explain further.
I remember paying gold for spells. It was nearly impossiable to save gold while raiding. Changing spells to elixer was a huge boost to saving gold for upgrades and to the economy overall.
Plus this will get people to upgrade their TH instead of spending a month doing walls. Now it's two weeks for skulls. The more TH 9 and 10 the better due to loot penalty.
Level 12 collectors? You've got to be joking right? Even if Supercell released level 12 collectors you think they'd get some type of buff allowing others to make lots of gold and elixir? Who would they even be available to? TH10? ♥♥♥♥ this wouldn't make things better by a long shot. Yeah I get an additional 5-10k gold and elixir a day per collector..woo?
