So already overpriced lvl 6 archers will now get an even more expensive level leaving me with no elixir for walls...great solution. Let me guess 10m for two more hit points and yet another shade of purple hair?
The economy will not be ruined. You see, elixir will become harder to come by now that it will all go into walls. So, with less elixir to find and raid, the walls are still going to be hard to farm. You see? So stop complaining about my achievement of all lego walls is now nothing. Deal with it, because it still is something.
Relatively new TH 8, maxed walls at 7 to the dark purples, and almost have all the new walls caught up. Hooray for me. Now, it is obvious to me that whomever decided to allow elixer to be used on walls did not think this all the way through. I may be beating a dead horse here, but this one decision has the potential to ruin the game and make it wholly unplayable. If the thought process behind this was to get people to spend more $ on gems, it will backfire. Elixer has a purpose, and while yes it might be convienient for some people, especially at the end of a TH level to use elixer in such fashion, I don't think any self respecting clasher wants to see this change. The only raids worth doing from now on will be against abandoned villages. Active players will dump off and leave their villages totally worthless to raid. A change of this nature should have at least been put out to the player base to get a feel for the opinion. Then again, if I believe anything I read on the board it seems that player opinion doesn't matter much. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see this being a positive addition to the game. As far as the other updates - rock on. I haven't even unlocked valks yet, but I was aware of the cost and training time, and had decided that for now they would be used sparingly. That may change...at least DE will still be a raidable commodity...
