Sneak peeks!!!:d

I mean I've been playing this game for over two years now, started in late August of 2012 right... Two years because this game is pretty awesome and enjoyable. Not saying SC does a terrible job but I've worked rather hard to build my base up and do all lego walls and now about 1/5th done casually doing lava walls...now the elixir use for walls is great from now on...but why wait over two years to change how you could upgrade walls? I mean they are expensive for a reason...to make it so some players if they want to can go ahead and be better than a normal player...

Most of the comments I just see are people happy to be able to finish their level seven walls...nothing wrong with that..then turn off when they see someone disagree or dislike this update...

All im trying to say is that this updates great if your new or dont play a ton....and if you do play a bunch even easier...but my question is more along the lines of Why? Why make walls cheaper now? Let the majority of players who gave your game a chance, to allow it to stay up and make it a success get thrown to the curb...why?
I understand walls suck, but I wanted to do them as a challenge and to have a better base then the average player...now things may not change and those who cant find gold wont waste their time finding elixir...but I just dont get why now..or why even bother changing something where it effects the gemmers and the long standing players?

Its ts great it will be easier..but is that a good thing? I really dont mind raiding people with worse walls etc..nothing to stand out if everyone has the same walls/defenses...your just all the same then...
I understand walls a difficult and a challenge..but why shouldn't they be? Also whats wrong with having items in a game hard to achieve? No one wants to play a game where the next day your as good as you can get, at least I dont. This updates great for the new players who arent very far into the ball game...but personally im one of a small few who have been playing since 2012.. No disrespect but why are you hurting what ive accomplished..its just a game yes but why ruin what ive done.

This may sound terrible but I would rather of saw this early in the game...not a few years after many are nearly maxed out/maxed and can just throw the work they put into the side...I mean really whats next? People that cant farm de will now be asking to use gold and elixir to upgrade a hero instead of de because..."its to hard to get" or "its not fair for them to have better heroes then me"
Basically all im trying to say is that why does there have to be parody...there should be weak bases, average bases and strong bases. Not everyone should be the same.

Imho, overall, i always find as much gold as elixir when I loot or farm. Walls are not the only upgrades that are available. Walls are not the top priority of upgrades either. I don't know why everyone would dump their gold/elixir in only wall upgrades.

Walls are not that useful when you reach higher levels and can use high level hogs/dragons/balloons. If people have higher level walls, it would definitely change attack strategies, and maybe that's what supercell wants.

Wall upgrades will seem useless after a point at which I'll definitely have to save up for the other upgrades. Then, I'd still have more gold and elixir available. I have an unpopular prediction that this would increase the overall gold loot in the long run.

They should also probably let us build some troops with gold?

I don't think it will though. I'm just thinking about the way I play.. I've only got about 70 zaps left to do. As soon as I have 4m gold I upgrade a wall and boom that's 4m gold out of the economy. I'll just do the same with elixir. I actually like the change even though i've almost maxed all my walls. It's a nightmare upgrading walls. It literally takes years to max them and thousands of attacks. At least that pain will be a little less with the change.

I'm interested to hear SC's thought process behind the change though. Instead of increasing loot production, reducing boost costs for collectors to encourage more people boosting etc. they've actually gone ahead and made walls (the biggest gold sink in the game) cost elixir also. It seems pretty drastic and doesn't actually add anything to the economy. There will be less elixir available and better walls on bases. We'll see what else will be revealed I guess, this is the first sneak peek after all. Perhaps it will make more sense later...

First sneek peek is unfair in my opinion. No idea how many months i/we spent with full elixir while upgrading walls😠

They should just make it free.

Although it is good for upgrading I see it being a big step in the wrong direction. Why? Now elixir matters more there is even less incentive to increase cups since we might as well stick in low leagues with cheap armies and no spells.
What this game desperately needs is to increase the rewards for going higher in cups. As it is now the risk versus reward is way out of balance and this will only make it worse.

If it doesn't concern you than why post, if you're not one of the people upset than my post about that has nothing to do with you. It was not an attack at all merely a reply to your argument. If you're that sensitive I apologize. I know why people are upset, doesn't mean I have to agree or understand it. This is a game. Plenty of worse stuff happens in the real world.

It's definitely a bad move.

1. less chance receive expensive troops from daily battle. Wizard? pekka? dragon?? No way, back to archers/barbarian.
2. Clan War, boring war.
3. Nothing to loot in daily battle, all resources gone in wall. 100+ "Next" cost much valuable than the loot.


A good move from SC? No way.
