Important note for farming base designers!

I am one member of the forum community that doesn't really read much of anything except the Tactics and Strategies section of the forums. As I enjoy reviewing and scrutinising bases of all kinds, I would like to point out that with this coming update, it will be EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that ELIXIR STORAGES ARE PROTECTED EQUALLY TO GOLD STORAGES, especially in farming base layouts.

Elixir will no doubt reach a new level of high demand after the update and it will be necessary to protect this resource as an equal to gold. Bases that do not protect both gold and elixir equally will become OBSOLETE in many cases because elixir will no longer be a good sacrifice to protect gold.

Therefore, please remember, when designing your farming base, to protect all the storages equally from now on!:)

This is true, now that you can upgrade walls with elixir. However I believe gold still is more important since you can upgrade other buildings besides walls with gold as well. I maxed elixir incredibly fast.

It's a bad time to be attempting to save up 6m elixir.....Why did I have to save up now

Yes.. Finally some more TH8 designs that actually protect elixir.

I'm not sure it would matter much... the less protected elixir storages will probably all be empty anyway, since they're used to pay for walls. If you needed to save up for elixir, swap it with gold storages and dump your gold into walls. Basically, if you're ok with exposing the elixir storages now, why wouldn't you after the update? The way I see it, the exposed full elixir storages you see now is because we had no way to spend it, and once we can dump them into walls, then they can still be exposed, just empty now.
