I'm new(ish) to TH9 and I've got 3.5mil gold to spare. What do you recommend, level 7 mortar, level 7 tesla, or level 11 cannon?

Mortar, ALWAYS do splash damage first. The cannon may seem tempting, but really, dont.
but the tesla is soooooo cool
How about X-bow for intimidating?
From your choice I would pick tesla. It has the longest build time and looks cool! :rolleyes:
i agree, unless your splash is not up to par, definitely teslas, more construction time equals more experience rewarded

tesla has the most dps at TH9
Generally it's accepted that splash defenses should be maxed first simply for utility. But teslas aren't a bad investment either, considering they have the highest single-target DPS for defensive buildings, ignoring single-target inferno buildup. Also Lv 7 looks like it has onion rings on top ^_^
Tesla might be a better choice. I upgraded mortar first, didn't seems much different than level 6 one.
