Read on for reducing clan clogging!!!

This is a serious request that is not really neccessary, but it would not require too mich code or time to make. It just makes life easier though :)

I suggest, if all the players in a clan are completley inactive (havent logged on once) for 21 days, the clan will automatically be disbanded (broken), and the people inside will be clan-less. This helps because there are less clans clogging up the search system, and this does not hurt people, as they must be inactive if they havent logged on for 21+ days, and thus, they dont care/wont know (hehe) that they are no longer in a clan.

This problem is like debt: The longer it goes on un-solved, the bigger the problem gets! Especially since the game has so many players that join new every day! Its best to eliminate the problem at the roots...

If you do not like my idea (im talking to other forumers now), please tell me why RESPECTFULLY! I have not provoked anyone by making this thread, so please do not start a flame war!

P.S: Edit: The time period for the clan to be deemed as inactive, and be disbanded, is open to debate! I have no probs in that... As long as it's not something ridiculous like 1 year!
3 weeks is just an EXAMPLE, and my personal opinion.

What if a clan has a vacation clan for players to put their accounts when they go away. What if, let's say, two people from the clan have their minis on there and just so happen to not go on it or talk in the clan, why do they deserve to get their clan destroyed? Besides, how much is this harming you? Sure when you hit "search for a clan" but they can just add an easier filter for searching for clans. Or you can search on here as you should know looking for a clan in game is counter productive and rarely turns out good :p

As I had stated earlier, this is not really necessary, but it will make life much easier for everyone to find good, active clans!

And as for your vacation clan, I have 3 objections:

1. What's the point of even making a clan and/or being in one if you or anyone else will not interact ie. Request, Chat, LOG ON? If you are not going to be playing the game due to a break, there is simply no need for you to be in a clan!

2. Having an "alternate clan" destroyed is not a devestating thing! Simply make a new one, OR live with it! If you are not active enough that you can't log on for 3 weeks (as I mentioned in my first post, this amount of time can be changed), there is no NEED for you to:

A. Be in a clan
B. Be devastated that you are not in a clan


3. It's not just one person: Read my first post again: I said if NO ONE in the clan logs on for a period of time, the clan will be disbanded!!!!

Most ideas on here are ridiculous, if you actually "saw", the good ideas like masterminds I throw all my support into.
Also no one ever puts into consideration everyone else's views. As Im a player who dislikes war, I speak for the people who do as well. Whats so wrong with pointing out flaws in ideas, thats the point in the forums.

Im simply trying to get you to consider who this would negatively impact, if you can constructively fix that and tweak your idea around that, then good.

I agree with you man, but I'm just saying that most of the time, you don't agree with other people.

The basic principle of my idea I would like to keep (the no one logs on part), but other factors such as ;

-Time period of inactivity
-Number of Members
-What happened to the members

Etc. That's all open to debate, I'm fine with that. As long as my basic idea is implemented
