I recently posted a thread about my barracks boost results and I only attack if they have over 200k of each resource or close.
It may take a few minutes but seriously just keep clicking the next button and you'll find it

Really awesome loot
I was at TH7 when I found a base with little over 1 million loot (~510k both). I got it all :) It few months ago.. never seen that high loot before. Highest after that have been around 600k.
I do press next button quite alot.. often worth of 50k gold.. but most of the time it's worth it.
My normal day loot, without much pressing next:

Barbs and archers with few wall breakers. Good, fast and reliable combo for farming some loot :) Works for me.
