how to attack in th8

anyone wants to suggest how to attack neatly in th8? -got max troops for a th8 except balloons, healers and troops from dark barracks. want to learn how to get 3 star often on a th8

i usually use:
giants 16-18
wall breakers 8-10
wizards 12-16
*the rest is either 1 dragon, or half barbs half archers

i get 2 stars most of the time, but it's rare for me to get 3 stars...i only get 3 stars when the defenses are not much upgraded/maxed for a th8 (not including walls)

my attack pattern is to always kill clan castle troops of the enemy first, then try to destroy mortar/s while wizards are backing-up the giants and the other troops are destroying buildings out of reach of the defenses left. i wish i could export replays from CoC to my computer for easier help....

[edit:] i use 2 rage spells + 1 heal spell OR 1 rage spell + 2 heal spells with my usual army

Why are you not using mass dragons?

I get 1-2 (very occasionally 3) stars with barch--there's lots of easy bases out there.

Sounds like you are incapable of using
1)Balloonion
2) Mass Drag
3) Barch
4) GoWiWi
5) GoWiPe....
That is basically every strategy except hogs but that probably costs too much DE for you.

CoCLord has it except the Witch isnt available to TH8 so GoWiWi is not an option.

Good luck trying to Giant Healer other TH8's for 3 stars. You will need it.

and if you are not prepared to spend the elixir to bring your best options then plan on not scoring many stars in wars vs other TH 8's

hmm...need few more elixir for a golem...

guess i'll have to get golem first to get 3 stars on good/great th8 bases.....

actually, i'm fine spending loads of elixir on wars -but, not that much when i'm trying to save up for few upgrades left while trying to find unusual way/s to attack and get 3 stars

to be honest you will never progress much with this mentality. There are several kind of attacks which will eat up your resources like crazy. When you get to th9, do you think you would just wake up and try the strategy in a war? Wont you practice?

If your clan doesnt care its fine, but good clans do care of how people attack. War is not a place to experiment. Its place to put your practice into play and if you fail then its fine. But trying out something new in war is a big no-no unless leader gives a green signal.

By th7, every th7 should be well versed with mass drag. Th8 should just be used to get familiar with mass drags against 3 ads and once you are comfortable with it then gowipe.

Any th8 must be able to 3 star another th8. Nothing big about this. Its when you get to th9, 3 starring another th9 takes some skills.

im th8, been to master 3 w/out sniping and currently have a trophy record of 2756, this is a thread on how i did it

Your attacks as a TH8 should vary with the base you are attacking. Balloonion as a TH8 isn't very good against a max or near max TH8. Dragons are a pretty easy 2 star and will 3-star most any TH8 with some skill. Pekkas and Wizards are my go-to army for any base with less than lvl 7 walls. Gowipe is also good, but takes a little more skill to pull off without your dps splitting up.

Giants and healers aren't typically good for more than 2 stars on a good day.

i know its not good to try something new on wars, thats why i dont...and i am practicing -not on war though =p and thats why im asking of different ways to attack other th8 while im still in th8 myself..and again, i'm fine spending loads of elixir on wars (pointed this out since i think you're mainly talking about war attacks)

A maxed out GiWiHe attack can basically 3 star any th8 with spells. Wallbreakers included of course Also GoWiPe can be really powerful and is almost the same as GiWiHe. You may need a spell or two for stronger th8 bases. Balloons are good too, use minions to back them up or use dragons to lead them. A mass dragon attack will either be rage or lightning one ad first.

As far as elixir costs go. You can practice one or two attacks a day instead of using only mass dragons or high costing army compositions all the time to practice. It helps you to save elixir and add a new strategy to your attacks.

I use the same troop combination, for the simple reason, I don't want to waste elixir... And I'll get at least 2 starts on the toughest th8 base.... I get 3 stars a lot too...

I think you should use 2 heal spells at least... You can use 3 heal spells and ditch the rage spell if the town hall is not surrounded by mortars and wizard towers. Only use the rage spell if you get to the center of the base where the toughest defence structures are placed in one compartment... Otherwise, use 3 heal spells

Here's the stuff I use:

Farming:

- Barch
- Giants

Pushing/war:
- Mass dragons
- GoWiPe

when farming, just use Barch with some wallbreakers

during a war, mass drags are very effective
